first make a region around ure circle call it say unit chooser one

the trigger is...
event: Unit enters unit chooser one

action: create one (unit type) for owner of triggering unit at center of (region where u want the unit to be created)
action 2: remove triggering unit from game

not sure if this is what you want but you could give the building the frost arrows ability and give it an insanely huge amount of mana and an insanely huge mana regen.

they are included in UMSWE by Scio. You probably want the nooby version (standard version just has the hidden units). This is available at: http://www.umsmaps.com/files/UMSWE3.6.zip
unzip to ure warcraft 3 directory, and open UMSWE3.6NB.exe

its in the main mpq for wc3. you dont even need to download it, just use mpq2k or tech mpq and "unzip" the mpq and find ability.slk




it just occured to me i really should have put all of these ^ in one post. srry, can a moderator merge them somehow? this is my last one i promise.

I'm new here, i created a thread to know how to fix a "Bug".
DemonMarine posted, but he said "no double posts!"
So i went here, now here's the problem:
I created a custom unit based on the "Marine" model (the starcraft one), and i called it "Future Troop".
I saved the map, played it offline to check if it worked and it was all ok (i killed it :p).
After i played it online with other players the unit wasn't there!!! It pratically banished.
I also created a unit before the future troop, based on the gnoll model, and it worked fine for both on-line - off-line playing.
Now, can you tell me how to fix that bug (The unit doesn't appear)

was to tired and frustrated to post last night like i said i would =p so i post it now.

ok i got the spell editor working and i've altered some of the spells, but now, how do i get those spells into my map? i saved my changed to a file called "testing.slk" and dunno how to get those changes into my map..

no good, you have to resave it as abilities.slk and attach it to ure map using an mpq program. take note that if u reopen the map in the editor after tagging on ure spells, the world editor will automatically delete it. SO! what has to be done is ure spells have to be based off of an original spell. And all refrences to the spell in world editor will come out as ure new spell.
I'm pretty sure on this, but you may want a second opinion cause spell editing isnt my forte'.
EDIT: definetly backup ure mpq before tinkering with it.If you mess up one file in it u may have to reinstall wc3. (which is bad if ure like me and lost ure cdkey)

hmmm... is it the marine being created using a trigger? (some triggers mess up online....) You sure someone else didnt kill it first? no idea, im just pulling at straws here. If you like, you can e mail me ure map with a brief description of what you need to happen, and ill fix it for you.

my spells are now saving on the map and such, but now i need to figure out, how to i edit the spell info? it still shows the default info of the spells, is there a way for me to change this? by this i mean it still shows my WW skill info as its default for lvl 6, doing X dmg for X seconds. how do i edit this? i want it to say instead, lvl 1 does 10dmg for 2 secodns, lvl 2 20dmg for 3 seconds, or such.

I'm also wondering, how can i change which slot the spells go in? i just as a test tried to give my blademaster WW and avatar. and well, only 1 shows up. how can i move them?

(i think i've editied this post about 6times now, i keep asking, playin with it more tryin to figure it out then gettin it and editing my post =p)

I never Used Scripts, i sent you the map, and... like i said in the other thread, the unit is owned by "neutral hostile" player, as you can see in the map.

Bounty

HELP...

Im making a map similar to the custom game footman wars.
Everything is done except one thing, the bounty. I dont know how to make the trigger or unit edit so when you kill a unit you will get money, just like when you kill creeps except it is another players unit you kill for money.

I tried to set the bouty in the unit editor but it doesn't work..

HELP HELP

OK DecoY, it's rather simple. Set the bounty in the editor. Than run this tirgger:

Events:
Game-Map Initilization

Conditions:
NONE

Actions:
PLayer-Turn Player Flag On/Off (Turn Give Bounty on for PLayer [ whoever, but if it is all of them, than group them and choose the group, or just put the action multiple times, changing the player # each time ]
