quick question,
i have the MPQ Viewer and is in the folder where WC3 is in.
When i click Open Archive, and click on War3Patch.mqp,
nothing happens.
what is wrong? do i NEED the game to be in C/programfiles/warcraft3 ?

Ok, I've been making a whole lot of fun and interesting maps. I've figured out how to use alot of different kinds of trigors, how to edit the units every which way and all that, but I can't seem to run proper AI scripts. My enemies just stand aroud until I attack them. They don't build, or mine, or attack, or anything. I'm looking for ways to run AIs like in the campains. What's the Trigger comand I use?

I want it when a unit attacks particular unit, it automically teleports to the center.

So when unit is damaged for the event. And attacking unit moves instantly to X region. Then add a special effect above attacking unit. What am I goind wrong and it won't work. and I have another thread that has some more questions.

Well, Farimir, a couple of questions for you.

Do you have any conditions for that trigger? And you could say Unit-Sepcific Event (A Unit takes damage)

And a condition could be
PLayer Comparison (Owner of (Triggering Unit) equal to player [1-12]).

Then, under Actions, add the special effect on the overhead of the unit, and instantly move him to a certain region.

If that doesn't work, you can try the Gateway Effect trigger, but I'm not sure if it will work...

And cullam, you use the Unit Group Pick Every Unt and Do Action
Than pick every unit in (Entire Map) and have them do whatever you want.

ok this is for u o great map master 8)
my units still wont all walk to the next region and from there to lives. they keep hangin and they wont walk. dont know how to fix
2: suddenly my lives wont explode anymore and i dont know how to add 14 lives left . 13 lives left strings... + defeat settings.
u dont have to look at terrain or more tower or more level i only want to know how to let them all walk right en how to get the text and lives/defeat working !

You just need to hit Spacebar, or click the little dotted square (Make sure your on the Doodads Layer) and then click and drag the box over the doodad, and then hit Delete. :)

No need for such language my friend, please tone it down...

b 4 i dl it i gotta backup all my wc3 files cuz when i dled the extra editor it was actually worse tehn the original and started screwin stuff up

Alright i wanna make an RPG type of game and i want to "recreate" Diablo II where you have quests and that whole lot of good stuff. If anyone got any ideas for me like in killing blood Raven --the skeletons pop outta the ground in the graveyard or somethin like that. But one problem i am having is designing it so the map looks like diablo and to lock the camera to the player like diablo II ----can someone help? Do i have to lock camera to each of the heros in my hero selection or wat? if u can help thx so much!

Need help displaying Counter

I can use counter on my maps but I can't display them.

Ive tried creating timer windows for timers and then showing them but it doesnt work. Any sugestions?

I was curious how to change the heros skills dmg/duration/animation/etc. in the DoTA maps the blademasters whirlwind is upgradeable and can do more dmg with each upgrade and a longer duration. i was curious how to do things like this.
