Dude you can run around the block can't you? Do push-ups and sit-ups and stop being lazy and playing on the computer all day.
I agree with a few statements you have made but one I highly disagree with is cutting down on meat. Meat posses protein which you body needs. If anything you should stay away from meats with a lot of marbling a.k.a fat. Eat more chicken and other lean meats like deer meat -- makes me hungry thinking about it lol. If you are a veggie person well I suggest powdered protein which you can get at local food markets or GNC etc.Cutting out carbs is unhealthy. Just cut back on the really nasty things like sugar, white bread. Cut down on meat, drink less pop and more juice. (Not drink, not beverage. JUICE).
And eat a bit less of everything and you're done. There's lots of great tasting, healthy food out there: It's called fruit.
I agree, as far as eating sweets and unhealthy foods. It should be done in moderation.Chris said:Well if you do eat ****, you need to do so in moderation. Which is what I have been saying for like 4-5 posts as of now.
EXACTLY! I think most of us have provided Jason with great Ideas to get him started but he lacks dedication.Chris said:The real problem isn't Jason getting a plan to lose weight figured out, its him not being able to start it because of excuses that are easily remedied.
Yea... I am guilty of having a sever sweet tooth but I manage to curve it with sweet fruits such as apples and bananas. Peanut butter is my life savor. If you've ever seen that movie meet Joe Black or w/e I'm there eating peanut butter off a spoon with a glass of milk heheh.Chris said:Hell, even I exercise and I eat junk at times, and I am not obese. The only real junk I eat is chips and pop. Everything else has some form of nutritional value within it.
Thats fine, baby steps are always welcomed as long as you are making forward progress. Just start eating more healthy foods. You will begin to noticed the difference because you have more energy and you are not as tired as you normally are. Also be sure to get 8 hrs of sleep each night. This increases metabolism.Diet is failing so far. I haven't lost any weight, and I'm still eating moderately the same as I was before I started. I do agree that I need to exercise, and I also do agree that I lack the motivation to do it. It's VERY hard to motivate yourself in my position..a lot of you don't realize this because you've never been this much overweight. I'm not just making excuses, but I do understand that if I truly wanted it I'd put up with anything.
For now..I'm trying to work on portion control. Once I have that angle fixed I will try to start working on exercising. Trust me..with weight loss at this high of an amount it's hard to do anything but take baby steps..
