No, it was invented by the developers of the game as a means to have an 'upper class' or a stronghold against public players. As more and more people strive to join, it gets more noobs.

they probably kick u because they think u lag. i used to kick ppl from mexico before i realized how retarded it was to play with people from CA but kick MX lol.

i really hate dota right now... so many dam leavers i don't even feel like joining games anymore. icefrog is such a lameass too. the noobs keep bitching to him about imba heros in the game so he just nerfs them until the nooobs start bitching about how weak the heros are (ie: chen) ughh..... anyway i really wish they would just bring out the new heros and stop nerfing the old ones so much because it isn't so much that i have to revise my strat but that it is just really really annoying.... espicially that stupid hotkey change for mana void on magina... i almost died in a game because i kept pressing V like crazy.

There is no such thing has imba heroes really. Every hero has a weakness that you must find and expliot. Hell, in -ap you can wait a while for your enemy to get thier heroes, then pick one that stands a good chance combating them. Most noobs fire the gun too fast, and look what happens. I have played with people who pick Kardel for no reason, players that feed others and Greg probably has too.

Also, its hard to tell apart the superior from the regulars. There is no sure-fire method unless you use banlist yourself or if you see any dumbass with dota in his name (except LuckerNub and LuckerKid).

Hell, I once got smack from a N'aix noob because he complained that my Gondar with his crits outmeleed him. Naix is a late game hero, is he fair game early on.

Orbs: Sange and Yasha, Skadi on Melee, Stygian Desolator, Sange, any mana costing arrow skill or life leech item (MoM, MoD, Satanic, HoD).

Not with me because anyone who knows how to play him will NOT get Bracers (thats right Trojan!), and get 4-5 Gauntlets of Strength. Even early game, i have him to 700-800 hit points getting kills before level 6. It is fantastic.

gaunlets own on naix. but he still sucks , my dragon knight will own naix 1v1 anyday. same with magnitaur..... man the strength heros that can pwn naix are endless.

Naix is easy to outmelee or outspell, you just need to do it before he becomes a real hazard.

Like when he gets S&Y, or Satanic, or Bashers, or Black King Bar (well maybe not that).
Then, if he does indeed use Rage, Omnislash can still target him, and if you are Avernus and cast MotA on him, it does not go off.

naix just has tooooo many weaknesses to be a hero to be taken seriously in a 1v1. he is like clinkz basically, heros like that are noob slayers and they are only good when the game is -sm or alot of noobs are feeding you up.

Well, once you get detection, clinkz is easy kills. Because of the fact his longevity is so low.
