I'm the author of StarForge. If you want more information, read the "official" thread on Blizzforums:

http://www.blizzforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20244

I don't have time to monitor two separate forums!

I apologize in advance for multiple posting, but these forums have a 200 kb attachment limit...Here are some screenshots of stuff I already have done.

The most advanced features of StarForge are the trigger editor (not finished yet), its ability to place sprites (note the space doodads on jungle tileset), and its ability to place units belonging to any of 256 players.

Oh, one more thing: current download size of the editor is 250 kb.

And another thing: I'm going out of town tomorrow and won't be back until the 13th. Write me an email if you want to contact me: ravenx609@hotmail.com

Anyone that knows how to use the campaign editor can figure it out pretty easily. Most of the unknowns don't do anything, they're just there for testing, just in case :)

The only thing that might be a little hard will be the trigger editor. It's more like a programming language, but there will be plenty of aids to figure that out.

Oh, like a programming language... Then has manually editing the triggers been suggested? It'd be pretty lame to select a command from a list when you could just type it. :p

I'm not worried about how hard it is. I'm worried about how annoying it is going to be like SD. Like you can't undo what you did if you accidently put terrain on the wrong place. In SD, there's no cancel button in the Unit Properties box. I might have accidentally highlighted the wrong unit and changed it to the wrong player. I know these little mistakes takes seconds to undo the mistakes, but would you want to deal with those mistakes every time you edit a map?
