burrow cloack, i disagree, its part of the game to be capable of notice that ur spy is about to be discovered, otherwise that would be stupid, we only needed to send the unit, and he would spy for itself

I also thought of the xelnaga, you know what would be cooL?

Toss: a unit sorta like a med but that heals plasma shields only
Terran: a navy seal sort of unit that can cloak but is really powerful too
Zergs: they should make Hunter-Killers a buildable unit.
New race?GOATS!!! :they can eat everything!!!!!!!!!

I think is SC 2 there is a ground transport that is faster than a Devouring One (Hero Zergling). But the ground transport isn't burrowed. The transport would be used for slower units such as reavers and others.

here are some ideas of mine:

- A trap for the terrans that shoots a metal bar strait up and does like 30 damage. its burrowed when built and can not be moved.

- An infintatry unit that has a medium range jump pack- You click on the jumpack icon, then click somewhere in a circle that appears.

How about an all cyborg race. all of the races are "real" life forms, except for protoss's reaver, drone, and probe, i believe. but have a race totally mechanical.... that would be cool. I think lasers should look cooler too. they are just short little things right now. i think there should be little electric blue beams that maintain constant contact with the enemy until it is dead, or you are dead. Oh wait!
The link gun from unreal championship! One guy fires that continuous laser, then if you bring another guy along, and target the first guy, you fire at him, and his weapon does more damage. the more guys you bring along to target that one guy, the more damage you can do. That would be sweet. But as for that flying bunker idea at the beginning, i think it would be cool. Not a bunker, but like a dropship, with guns mounted on the side. say it had 4 guns, and you put 4 marines or somethign in it, all 4 guns would be active. Like someone said before about C&C Red alert 2, Yuri's revenge, that big moving tank that you can put guys in and they fire from the inside. that would just be soooo cool.

Gay units that would be rejected-
A zerg unit that comes up and pisses on something, and it eats a hole through it, like plague.
Graphic change for dark swarm: The dark swarms shoots out of the defiler's anal cavity.
-=Ãœber Gay=- a terran stripper woman that would like go up, get nude, and it would be like a lockdown for all units in the area. Except the person who owns it. I'm not sure the zerg would care though.

Oh well, thats enough of my gay schemes. I now return you to your regulary scheduled thread.

yo man i got some thing this is probably stupid but how bout a vulture that have some sort of thing tube ect that plants in the ground and releases mine but not the plains mine there undergrounds and this is the good part you can move then its just a stupid ideal to make the vulture better because in sc they suck ass shit

Instead of a flying bunker, how about a troop transport for ground? Load up your units and head off to war. You could also attack with the units in it, but only one would survive the transports death.

SUPER BATTLE CRUISER

Starcraft 2 should have a Super battle cruiser that does 3 times the damage, and can transport units like a dropship, but twice as many units as the dropship, and it should have a self destruct option, so if its severly damaged, and under attack it can blow up with twice the force of a nuke, but unfortunatly all units onboard would be killed, also it should be able to switch to a water cruiser, kinda like a seige tank, but on water from air, then it could serve as a Wraith and Valkary repair station on the water, and it could be a detector unit also......just a thought....

there should be a destroyer ship for water, for terran, and it should be able to fire missiles at air units and have a cannon for land units (in range) and other water units

Long long lisr of idea's

Hey all haven’t posted in a while but here I am with hole bunch of idea’s

In SC2 their shouldn’t be too many units I have seen mods of war 3 that do it, it doesn’t make the game more fun or cooler, the units should be as different as possible that does make it more fun. Also I think all races should be almost entirely re-done, the coolest units should be kept but the rest should go (i.e. ghost, dark templar, zergling).

Upgrades should never be re-researched you should take them to the next campaign level in multiplayer you could make a point system according to the number of upgrades somebody has and match them up with players with the same amount of points, I’m not very sure of this multiplayer option.

As little + 1 upgrades should be in the game as possible (i.e. + 1 armor) that’s dull

There should be an elite system for units only more sophisticated, for instance if you use a unit to scout a lot it should gradually become faster. Zerg units should additionally have the ability to change form according to their use (i.e. a scouting ground unit over time gets wings) this units should be storable en re-createable (in a some what weaker version though, for stimulation of making your units better by using them).

All other races should also have a way to get custom units in game, its fun to have your own cool unique unit which you trained yourself! And in multiplayer you can show of your unique units! (there should also be a game option which disables the use of custom units, for more equality)

Terrans should have a logical way of getting units in game not a stupid ill-logical training building, the zerg and Protoss made sense, Zerg were grown the Protoss were warped, the Terrans should have a cloning facility which uses minerals to create units out of the blue.

Hero’s should only be able to wear new weapons and armor and 1 other item (weapons and armor should change appearance) Zerg units should not be able to wear weapons and armor their weapons and shields morph when they become higher levels.

There should be a lot more summonable creature’s

Upgrades should be customizable, hey maybe even in game.

Story line should have several different outcomes (if your replaying a campaign and you know somebody is going to double cross you, its no fun to be forced to trust him/her again, another example when Kerrigan got swarmed over by the Zerg because her boss left her there I made the best defense ever before finishing the Protoss of. Not a single Zerg came through but she was still in the hands of the Zergs, that sucks)

The Creep idea out of war 3 should also be in starcraft2, its cool

Resources should be more variable (i.e. different kind of minerals and gas which have different properties, for instance invisible ore which creates invisible units) the most powerful units should be composed of several kinds of rare ore, each multiplayer level should at least have one patch of each kind of resources, campaign levels should have patches of them if needed (the first level might not have the need to create invisible units yet, so no invisible ore is needed).

Infested idea is good here’s a variation on the idea of more micro command options

Terrans should have an expensive commander unit a unit which has good hp and attack which can do basic things at your base for you (i.e. defend, and then your buildings will automatically recreate units when units in the defense line were killed and the building of turrets and such or attack support your buildings will create additional forces (constantly, until you give another command to your commander) and send them to the front line). This helps Terrans out so they can focus on micro management.

In the campaigns you should have computer alley (who are not as useless as in war 3) and third parties, which will also attack your opponent (but not helping you) or attack you (not helping the other computer) or neutral ones which you can gain alliance with by doing a quest or another service, this should off course affect the story line.

Quest system from war 3 is nice another idea that should be adopted

The in game movies should be an combination of the starcraft briefings (they were so cool) and the in game movies of war 3.

The scaling of units and buildings should be more logical buildings need to be huge in comparison with units and the mayor battleship of the Terran and Protoss should be very huge and cost a lot of money and made on a big land site (no factory is big enough) several workers should be working on them, they should own once finished!

How about an Zerg beacon like in the story but it would attract totally hostile zerg which will attack every player (even Zerg) (also multiplayer)

Dead zealots should stick around and be picked up by drones to make dragoons (no dead zealots no dragoons!)

The engine should be able to support different layers of the map like planetary orbit ground and underground so you’ll have 3 battle fields!

Anyone how puts their entire message or signature in CAPITAL letters is an MORON and has sucky idea’s and it pisses people off so STOP it.

I like the commander idea. Maybe there could be a way to assign units to a commander, so if I order the commander to attack then the guys who are in his squad will do the same. It would be alot easier than setting loads of hot-keys.

Overpower? that should not be possible because in order to get a certain unit you'll have to train it which will take a long time + the enemy can do the same. Also once you build your own unique unit the game should assign a cost to the unit which is reasonable for its power (good modified creatures cost much).

Another idea i noticed that people dont like the hero idea of war 3 much, so to make it fair blizz should add some disadvantadge to having a hero so that you are yust as likely to win with one or without one, catch my drift?

imagine StarCrqaft and BW a simple game into a complicated game if it uses stuff from Sylvan's ideas, but the stuff is really good.
The protoss training majig is illogical too because Aiur s where everythinggg is warped from but it was overrun wasn't it?
