Long long lisr of idea's
Hey all haven’t posted in a while but here I am with hole bunch of idea’s
In SC2 their shouldn’t be too many units I have seen mods of war 3 that do it, it doesn’t make the game more fun or cooler, the units should be as different as possible that does make it more fun. Also I think all races should be almost entirely re-done, the coolest units should be kept but the rest should go (i.e. ghost, dark templar, zergling).
Upgrades should never be re-researched you should take them to the next campaign level in multiplayer you could make a point system according to the number of upgrades somebody has and match them up with players with the same amount of points, I’m not very sure of this multiplayer option.
As little + 1 upgrades should be in the game as possible (i.e. + 1 armor) that’s dull
There should be an elite system for units only more sophisticated, for instance if you use a unit to scout a lot it should gradually become faster. Zerg units should additionally have the ability to change form according to their use (i.e. a scouting ground unit over time gets wings) this units should be storable en re-createable (in a some what weaker version though, for stimulation of making your units better by using them).
All other races should also have a way to get custom units in game, its fun to have your own cool unique unit which you trained yourself! And in multiplayer you can show of your unique units! (there should also be a game option which disables the use of custom units, for more equality)
Terrans should have a logical way of getting units in game not a stupid ill-logical training building, the zerg and Protoss made sense, Zerg were grown the Protoss were warped, the Terrans should have a cloning facility which uses minerals to create units out of the blue.
Hero’s should only be able to wear new weapons and armor and 1 other item (weapons and armor should change appearance) Zerg units should not be able to wear weapons and armor their weapons and shields morph when they become higher levels.
There should be a lot more summonable creature’s
Upgrades should be customizable, hey maybe even in game.
Story line should have several different outcomes (if your replaying a campaign and you know somebody is going to double cross you, its no fun to be forced to trust him/her again, another example when Kerrigan got swarmed over by the Zerg because her boss left her there I made the best defense ever before finishing the Protoss of. Not a single Zerg came through but she was still in the hands of the Zergs, that sucks)
The Creep idea out of war 3 should also be in starcraft2, its cool
Resources should be more variable (i.e. different kind of minerals and gas which have different properties, for instance invisible ore which creates invisible units) the most powerful units should be composed of several kinds of rare ore, each multiplayer level should at least have one patch of each kind of resources, campaign levels should have patches of them if needed (the first level might not have the need to create invisible units yet, so no invisible ore is needed).
Infested idea is good here’s a variation on the idea of more micro command options
Terrans should have an expensive commander unit a unit which has good hp and attack which can do basic things at your base for you (i.e. defend, and then your buildings will automatically recreate units when units in the defense line were killed and the building of turrets and such or attack support your buildings will create additional forces (constantly, until you give another command to your commander) and send them to the front line). This helps Terrans out so they can focus on micro management.
In the campaigns you should have computer alley (who are not as useless as in war 3) and third parties, which will also attack your opponent (but not helping you) or attack you (not helping the other computer) or neutral ones which you can gain alliance with by doing a quest or another service, this should off course affect the story line.
Quest system from war 3 is nice another idea that should be adopted
The in game movies should be an combination of the starcraft briefings (they were so cool) and the in game movies of war 3.
The scaling of units and buildings should be more logical buildings need to be huge in comparison with units and the mayor battleship of the Terran and Protoss should be very huge and cost a lot of money and made on a big land site (no factory is big enough) several workers should be working on them, they should own once finished!
How about an Zerg beacon like in the story but it would attract totally hostile zerg which will attack every player (even Zerg) (also multiplayer)
Dead zealots should stick around and be picked up by drones to make dragoons (no dead zealots no dragoons!)
The engine should be able to support different layers of the map like planetary orbit ground and underground so you’ll have 3 battle fields!

+ no unit only against one other unit or race thats GAY
Anyone how puts their entire message or signature in CAPITAL letters is an MORON and has sucky idea’s and it pisses people off so STOP it.
