Cold turkey. The only way that truly works.

I've been cutting down alot recently. I find if I'm by myself and not doing anything, I can smoke a cig or two a day. If I'm hanging with friends or doing something, it increases, but I'm getting much better.

Gum is an option I am considering, even though I'll try doing cold turkey again tomorrow (gum just seems like it'd make me a pussy), bootcamp is not an option since the only country I can go to bootcamp in is Russia and thats on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. Who is this Cojak you speak of? I have accomplished the cutting down part today, I smoked 6 cigarettes compared to my usual 12-15, so hopefully this will get me somewhere.

And yes, I know I failed double time....I got pwned by my nicotine addiction.

Is "blowing bubbles" a slang expression for something? Does it involve crack-cocaine?
No...the physical action is similar to smoking, look it up; it's about the most successful treatment you can be for something with the highest fail rate :|

You may already, but rolling my own seriously helped me cut way back. Also it is much cheaper. I think weaning yourself off works well (everyone is different of course.) Keeping track of how many cigs you smoke, and how much time elapsed between each cig can help you set goals for yourself. Think of everyday that you cut a cig out, or wait an extra hour to smoke as a step closer to ending this modern day slavery. Make sure to stick to it.
Every time you want to smoke, think of freedom. You don't have to be a slave to the tobacco industry.
Most important is keeping busy with activities you don't associate with smoking. Cleaning, reading, and writing greatly helped me. As did exercise and a lot of loving support from my spouse, despite my shity moods.

Pick up like a case of gum from a wholesale store and keep two packs on you pretty much at all times. And just chew the fuck out of some gum and about a week later you should be just about good to go.

It's worked for some of my friends and some of my friends parents who are 40+ year smokers. Just make sure it's a spirimint or mint gum, not a fruity bubalicious or something.

Well Im down to a cigarette every 3 hours now. Which is 1/3rd of what I usually smoke. The problem is that I am having trouble keeping my mind off of it. I'm currently studying for A+ Certification by just reading a book, then I smoke I got no problem keeping focus and grabbing all those concepts, then I don't smoke for 1.5+ hours my mind just begins to wander all over the place. I'll try to the gum thing, see if that works.
