That has been actually made in Command & Conquer: Renegades.

It would be cool, actually, if we were able to control a unit. Like in those times in SC where you are waiting (right in the beggining ;)) for an SCV to be completed, you could control one of those :)

Or in battles ;)

But, you would have to be very skilled to do so and play good in the general game.

First of all, some of my ideas may have been said already, because I am not going to waste the time it would take to read all 12 pages of posts.

Second of all, I've spent quite a while researching SCII on the web and I have found out some interesting rumors that show up very often, so they may be true:

1) Water units...definitely happening.
2) Protoss pylons are mobile.
3) Two new races- Terran/Zerg Hybrids & Xel'Naga
4) New protoss ground unit (forgot name but looks really cool, I'll find the pic and post a link to it sometime.
5) Cooler graphics (I've seen an in-game pic of a scout doing barrel rolls.
6) Some new kind of terran air unit; looks like a Siege Tank-shaped Valkyrie (same pic as scout) By the way, I saw 5) & 6) on
a Blizzard site, so don't just discredit me.
7) Return of Kerrigan!
8) Something like an advanced siege tank- haven't seen a pic yet.
9) Who knows?

Third of all, some of my own little suggestions for the creators at Blizzard:

1) BETTER ZERG AIR UNITS! My God, they suck! Equivalent of a carrier or bc.
2) A zerg long range ground unit; similar to a Siege Tank or Reaver.
3) Protoss long range attack flyer- Zerg has guardians, Terran has the Yamato. The toss are left out here!
4) It would be highly cool if you could bunker up units in the building they came out of, but with a limit of how many to a building. (ex. Wraiths chill in a Starport, Marines hang out in a Barracks, Vultures are stored in a Factory) This should be purely for Terrans, and bunkered up units cannot attack. It would be like in AoEII- Conquerors.
5) Ultralisks...BURROW!
6) A new type of Templar...
7) More than just Zealots for the Protoss "infantry". Goons are cavalry. We need the equivalent of a firebat.
8) There needs to be a way to heal Protoss units without Mind Controlling a Medic. Terrans can Heal or Repair, Zerg automatically Heal, and all Protoss have is Shield Generators.
9) More to scale units. How the hell do they expect that tiny little shuttle to transport 2 Archons? Seriously.
10) They need a way for terrans to take over at least one kind of enemy unit. Toss can Mind Control, Zerg can Infest. At least have "Resocialize", to take over enemy infantry. It would have to be done in a building, and it would take time.
11) In order to do 10), it would be awesome if you could take enemies prisoner, and like, press them for information on the whereabouts of their base or something. Ghosts could read the minds of the Zerg, and there could be a torture chamber building or something.
12) MUST...INCREASE...MAX....SUPPLIES/PSI/CONTROL. Make it more of an army commanding game, like Total Annihilation. Almost infinite grouping capability, no more of that 12 to a group crap, and have at least 500 max supplies.
13) Dropship speed upgrade- Gravatic Draive and Pnuematized Carapace are great, but Dropships are too freakin slow!
14) Give Zerg and Terran a defense building like the Photon Cannon. Let it attack ground/air, and make it depend on something else in order to function.
15) It would be incredibly cool to have a zerg hero unit (1player only here, guys) that was a mix of all three (or more) races. Domination, man!
16) Two words: INFESTED PROTOSS!
17) Terran Commandoes. Like a Ghost without cloak, but with a grenade laucher or something.
18) Another cool idea: multiple attack sequences. When units attack, it's always the same. Make them have the same attacks, just make it look different sometimes. (ex. A zealot slashs sometimes, stabs sometimes)
19) Hydras must have a melee attack, if you get too close. Otherwise, what the hell are those scythes for?

Input please. I've never discussed these ideas with anyone. I want to know what the public thinks.

I found the pic of the Scout doing a barrel roll. I think it's new because of the weird terran flyer. Could be old, though, and Blizzard just scrapped it.

That unit is old, very. It's one of the beta images of StarCraft.

I just signed up to post my idea and all the ideas I heard, some good, some lame, but I have an idea. Remember how if you merge 2 High Templars, you will get an Archon. And if you merge 2 Dark Templars, you get a Dark Archon. What if you could merge a High Templar and a Dark Templar and it, for instance, could make an Evil Archon that has the attacking power of an Archon, and the spells of a Dark Archon, maybe the HP & shields of both.

But I think that that would be a pretty sweet unit.

Yeah right u almost got blowed up and ran away from lots of zerglings hydras lurkers and other icky stuff.

Oh sure ill work for half the price. =)

I got the best idea so far make SC2 graphics so good that u cant see diference between Real world and SC then make all the infantry units female/male choosable and make it so that units clothes get destroyed after one hit. And add a icon next to stimpack called viagra that means that all male units get really horny and get alot stronger if there are women next to them and make some units to gay units (ghost, ghosts are gay) and when male unit takes viagra they get a really good meele attack and when no units close bye they will have sex (with no ability to see diference between Real life and SC it will be MINUATURE PORNO)

Or you could choose not to...

Hyarion, i pity you... your mind is so corrupted that... i can't even talk about it... anyway...

New Race- Some water race that looks somewhat like technologically advanced merpeople... uses harpoons and stuff like that, or lasers or whatever... could ride on sharks or whatever water species of neutral units... ooh! merpeople infantry could tame neutral passive creatures with an upgrade and then ride them.. like shark riders or whale riders or octopus riders or squid riders or whatever... hehe...

New Unit(s)- Boats... need boats... both for transportation and battle... like warships and stuff with long range nukes and crap like that... and little sailboats that are used to transport units from one place to another over water... more toss infantry... they're being left out in the man to man fighting crap... zerg, definatly, underground travel... that would be so cool... and, just so it would not be complete 'stealth'(like the ghosts) the ground where they were tunneling would bulge and stuff, but not immensly, only a little bulge that would not really be noticed if the player just glanced over the area... and there would have to be new defenses for this mode of travel, like underground walls, or underground laser cannons or whatever...

New Building(s)- interragation/torture chambers would be cool... yah yah... the interrogation would last for say... 10, 15 seconds... and then the enemy's base would be revealed on the minimap... torture chambers would also be used for this purpose, but the unit would die after it was over...

anyway... thats my two cents...

make hybrid buildings/unit which can attack and do stuff beside build ie moving photon cannons when stationary they attack more powerful and can build.

I think there should be a dimension underwater where you can fight. I also think there should be paratroopers like everybody else. The marines should get some frags and stated b4 by sum1. There should also be the Xel'Naga race. I think another improvement would be underwater probes and etc. There should also be water units like every f****** other person said Blizzard you readin dis??

What are the use of paratroopers? How is this any different than dropping units off like you currently do in StarCraft? All this will do is allow the Dropships to keep moving and make the floating Marines easy targets until they land, not to mention susceptible to STA weaponry.

another thing i 4got to mention was to be able to bild and mine underwater. That would be really cool. there shoul also be the ability to go into empty vehicles goliaths, tanks, etc. and eject whenever you like.

Though cool, undersea mining has no use, unless the highly useless and improbable water units are added, among many other things. I just don't see this happening. As for the ejecting, it, too, is pretty useless. Unless some complicated measures were added to give this use, I, again, cannot see it happening.

undersea mining is useless, in the ways i see it.


Ejecting units could be good, like whn a tank is in battle and it's about to be destroyed you can eject it and it could be like a infantry unit ndfight or something like that.

or something From Gundam, a tank but when it about to die u cab eject the top off and turrnet and become a flying yet weak unit

dark archon needs a black whole ability. and units going into it are temporarily trapped until the archon runs out of mana or is killed. during this time the units can be spit out somewhere else for strategic uses in attacks or just ruining an enemy force.

though undersea mining has no use it would still be cool and there could be levels where there is only water and you fight underawter only.
and can sum1 plz tell me how to put pictures on the reply spot
