Yes, America gets a lot of it's oil from Mexico, as well as Venezuela although not quite as much.

Saudi Arabia: 16.9%
Mexico: 15.1%
Canada: 15.0%
Venezuela: 14.4%
Iraq: 11.4%
Nigeria: 5.9.%

That was in 2002 though so I'm sure some of the numbers have changed. Even still it probably hasn't changed too much.

Oh yes it did, Russia is now suppling you a lot of its oil. And even before that, American companies were drilling oil in Siberia that oil even now lights up, most of the east coast.

Its kind of ironic that you talk about Russia like your nation is older then it. Russia is 1200 years, US is 300 we learned a lot from our mistakes, you learned more from mistakes of others, but still its not right for you to refer to Russia as some 50 year old nation, those culture was copied from anoter country, and didnt have any major affect on human history.

Obviously, I cant say for certain, but I dont believe America would start a World War.
We may do some controversial things, but our leaders are not stupid, no matter what you hear.

Meh...

I say its either US or China, both have an ability to start it, and both have mountains of ambition.

Thats the thing, any country has the ability to start it. Of course, the ones with WMD's are at the top of the list, but any country with a fighting force could. All they would have to do is invade a neutral country (e.g. Germany into Poland. Remember?) From there, refuse to give it up, countries swarm to help one or the other, wam-bam, WWIII. =\

So scary, it's so easy. :(

Not really that easy, you see not every nation in the world has to the ability to start and not get their ass kicked a week from the begging, US and China are two that can. US has been very aggressive lately, and China was always agressive, and it has the largest population in the world, and it is supplied with latest and best in military technology by RF, and it has nukes. I say WW3 will be started by CHina, WW4 by US, if they drop all the "good guy" bullshit, and get real, then they gonna try and fail.

True, but a country may invade another without thinking of the consequences. They may not intend to start such a war, but may set off a chain reaction with their actions.

For instance, Desert Storm. After Iraq invaded Kuwait and we countered; had another country come to Iraqs aid, say Iran, and then S. Arabia helped us, it could easily elevated to an all out war, with the other superpowers coming to the battle.

Of course this is all just 'for instance", but it still gets the point across. All it takes is one country to start the ball rolling, if you will.

Just look at World War 1. A small event can lead to a World War. It's so easy it's scary.

I wouldnt think that 2 super powers going at each other, over the influence in the "not so insignifacant country", can be named a small thing.
