That isnt one war is it... there has been 2 sorta wars one was a "police action" recently i really dont think they derserve a title of WWIII

Meh, countries do not hate us for what we did; they hate us for what we are.

Whats happening in the Middle East is nothing to the people over there. Sure, for America, it is new, but those countries have been continually at war since...forever. Yes they could be secretly organizing something, but that doesnt mean it will ever become actions. Korea has nothing to do with the Middle East, it will be one or the other, I think, not the two together.

I've been thinking a lot lately about how bad the earth is looking right now. Political tensions are way up, everyone is suspicious and looking ever their shoulders. Wars are being fought all over the place, or at least there is the chance of outbreak all over the place.

I say it will be China that starts it, they have the men power, they got the largest population and the biggest army in the world, and they have a lot of Ak-47 that were given to them by USSR, they also have nukes and they are now buying SU-27 from RF. It is just the matter of time before some idiot who will chose Hitler's philosophy as a perfect way to rule and they will unleash the hell upon earth. Bad for RF cause we have a border with them, well we never got to use those nukes and we do have SU-37s so i think that even if we go down then we make them pay for every cantemiter of Motherland with 10 liters of their soldiers blood. But ofcourse Japan, US and UK will get involved so there is no question about who will win, the question is how much will Chinese kill and how much will they destroy. Ofcourse they gonna attack RF first, cause we already have a tension over the Chinese populating our land near Russo-Chinese border, and we are the second largest oil keeper in the world, we got tons of it in Syberia, our oil is used to light up almost a half of US and other nations, so Chinese will want that oil.

China doesn't want to risk it -- or at least the current leader(s). You also have to remember that China has their longest standing tensions with Japan. Those two countries have been invading and countering eachother since the years BC.

First yes US does have most nukes but it is far from having the most oil, i mean you must know about US dependency on foreign oil. And yes you right Japan and China do have a misunderstanding, but no one expected Hitler to attack, and he did, as long as the nation is capable, it is a possible threat.

The US has stockpiled oil for almost one hundred years. Why? I'd wager to say that it started just in case the Middle East or other foreign powers were cut off. The US also has a huge supply of oil drilled from our own country. Some specialists speculate that the US has enough oil, in stockpile alone, to last some where between 20 and 50 years. That's not taking into account our own oil from drill supply.

otmorosok is right, we do depend on oil, thats why the prices are so high. If Saudi Arabia cut us off, which they wouldn't, because they would get warred, we would be screwed.

While we wait for more proof, the main proof is common sense. America is a powerful country, yes? Do you think our leaders are stupid enough to completely rely on other countries for something so important? Oil, coming from these countries, can stop coming just like that. If me and you know this, surely our leaders know this as well. They would take advantage of the situation while it is available, thus stockpiling. Common sense.

Good point, still that doesnt proove the claim of having the largest stockpile in the world.

Alright, first if you run out of oil and if you are in US that means that is only your problem because other countries have oil as a natural resource in great numbers of tons. If US doesnt have oil because of its location it will be unable to invade anyone but Mexico, Canada, and maybe South America. You need oil not only for cars but for plains, tanks, ships. So your scenario is very unlikely, besides US trades with other nations, and those nations have no reason for not trading with US.

Alright just to state a fact. Russia's land has most natural resources in the world, although the production and gathering rate is much higher in other countries. We got the money we just cant use enough of it.

I've heard scandles and positives coming from Putin. He's...a bit more comperable to Andrew Jackson (one of our first presidents) in that respect. It should be fairly easy to recover from his arrogance.

China has the largest army numbers wise, but that doesn't make them the strongest. The US has a stronger military and would win in a 1v1 battle. China doesn't have the means to transport most of their soldiers (interesting Popular Mechanics Article about this.)

Also, I don't think there is going to be another World War due to that fact that everyone has nukes. As crazy as it sounds, nukes keep the peace. For instance, say America wanted to invade Germany for it's oil (hypothetically, bear with me). They could very well do it, except for the fact that Germany has nukes. America wouldn't want to have any part of that. Nukes keep peace. Now I'm not trying to say that every nation should have Nuclear weapons, but they do prevent some wars.

I think If there were to be another World War it would have to be triggered by a small event. Look at how WWI started with the assassination of one man (Archduke Francis Ferdinand). I believe it would have to be the same way. There would be an assassination of say Ariel Sharone, and Israel would retaliate on that nation, whether it's right or wrong. This would bring many nations into the war. America would support Israel, and the muslim nation would support the other country. This would drag many nation into the battle. Some nations would just join in due to their "hatred" to America, N. Korea for example.

Canada and Mexico have plenty of oil, I'm not sure about this but I would assume most US oil imports are from these two countries as they are a lot closer than saudi arabia and i can just be sent through pipelines.
