Why exactally are we trying to get rid of the hacks?

Becuase the newbs(including myself)can't live without their d2 hacks. Without hacks d2 just isn't....d2.

Removing hacks is a stupid move in my opinion. I'm surprized people actually stay on bf anyway. I mean, it lags everyday.

Is it really logical to removed a section that drives in tons of traffic?

Well I searched for hacks and this came up, but I didn't actually enter the hacking section for a while, I just looked around the forums and those fun threads in the asylum, I made an account and after it got deleted I made this one about 2 months later.

We can (could have) get in trouble with Blizzard, which could to the demise of BF.

The true players don't hack, (Silynt, Pan), and we learnt that the hard way when they left.

Besides, with the bandwidth saved from hacks hits, we can do a new skin, improve the portal, new forums, perhaps even vB3, and maybe Chris's server won't pack itself in so much any more.

Also half the hackers from d2 have there own sites with downloads on them in their sigs..go there..

and coRT, I never said they were high quality posters, I'm just saying, there has been some that have come for the hacks and stayed cause it's a good place.

How long have you been here? Perhaps if you've been here one year and 2 months ago, you would have known the SC section without the hacks. It just owned. You could get a very good answer to your strategy question in about 20 minutes. Then the hacking sections appeared. Every good member pratically left...

I intend to recover that. Besides, cheating ruins the game, and it's anti-blizzard. This site's about Blizzard.

As for Diablo Hacking sections, that was up to Misterwhippy. And, well, diablo's diablo...

And summit, why such anger? I do remember Sylint and Rage, and I do miss them both. They had initiative. Sylint could been a pain in the arse some times, indeed, as well as Pan. But truth is, they were both good players, hated hacks, and didn't shut up.
