I understand that...but charge him as an adult, for such a tiny worthless crime such as a carrying a lighter/knife? It's possible...but...I don't know...

Okay let me be a mature adult here.
1. You can be place under arrest and your rights not read to you if the officer does not ask you any questions after you was arrested.
2. As stated you consented to the search and willingly emptied your pockets to be searched. The rules of evidence is consistent from state to state as they is a federal law about it. In the state of Ga numerous places, schools being one of them, that once you willingly enter you waive your right to be checked for dangerous weapons.
3. Quit asking for advice on a board. Tell the court you want a lawyer and you cannot afford one. one will be appointed. A class III felony upon conviction will result in you losing several rights by law.
4. Unless you have the required lisc...never take a weapon of any kind to school or any public gatherings. Know the laws in your state.
