I always thought the bombs we had and the superior armed forces were created to defend our freedoms. Pretty much every country has some sort of armed forces. Having the strongest armed forces is comforting and it also shows strength as a country and to a degree prosperity. It's cool that you don't like the U.S. because nobody is asking you to come here. We care about foreigners opinion about as much as they care about us when it comes to the "what is the best country" argument.

Stupidity - Academic values are useless today. Today the world is all about innovation and making quality of life better and you can do that without the highest level of education. The mistake that Asian and European countries make is that they make the children believe that if they don't get into university or have a doctorates, that they are ****ed on the social ladder.

Racism - USA is fairly clean of racism in comparison with the rest of the world. The people who face racism in USA now are often Muslims but at least Muslims can still make a living. If you go to some places in Europe (Spain in particular), and you are jewish, then you're ****ed. You can't make a living, you can't get a house, nor get respect. If you go into many of the European countries and you are homosexual, you're ****ed. If you are black and you are not of superstar status and you are in China, you're ****ed again.

Distorted? Please explain. All I have said is that freedom is promoted by the government not using coercive force to stifle the actions and beliefs chosen by individuals. It doesn't mandate your emotions, mandate beyond minimal requirements of education, etc. There are some glaring problems such as with mandating morality (fight over marriage, retarded hate crime laws, etc), what contracts are illegal (prostitution, drugs, some foods, etc), how you spend your money (high taxes, sanctions on Iran + Cuba, etc), and so forth, but the United States is consistently ranked high in both economic and political freedom (see the index of economic freedom and freedomhouse) - that means relative to the majority of countries in the world, the United States is promoting freedom.
