I was in Spanish, during my 1 year stint at a Catholic school. By the time I got to history (4th hour) the teacher was already discussing possible "PR" (public relations) benefits the school could get by donating to relief funds. All he ****ing cared about was the PR.

Okay really, I skipped school that day and all the channels(even HBO) cut out and showed the WTC being bombed... I was like "WTF!!!!" and I basically cried... LITERALLY!

You took that the wrong way. It owned watching a plane hit a building, then watching the buildings fall, cause its one of those things that is like once in a lifetime...Not the fact that thousands of people died in it...

In the Yukon, Northern Canada. Just getting up from a short night sleep, getting a couple cups of coffee for me and another, when a friend from downstairs RAN up and said to me the WTC just got hit by a plane. His wife got straight up too (she must have good ears or umm someone kept her up) and hoofed it to the TV with my friend (who's her husband) I kinda just kept pouring coffee and nudged my girl, and gave her some coffee, then together we went to the TV.

Reporters were saying it's possibly an accident or something, minutes later the second plane hit. Then every half hour the same recap came over and over and over.

I'm rambling so I'll stop

Yeah, my uncle works there, and he luckily went to grab a cup of coffee and was late to work and as he was about to walk it, the plane crashed and he luckily escaped.

I have a friend who went to go buy lunch across the street from it when it hit, and he was on the floor that was unhit by the plane but was ontop of where it hit so he would have had to jump for his life. what a lucky guy.
