This site went downhill the minute we got rid of all the D2 / SC hacks and tried to go for a "more wholesome" place.

Getting rid of The Asylum, banning a ****load of members (both good and bad, to be honest), removing hacks, and the general "who the **** cares about SC1, D2, WC3" attitude of 90% of the playerbase of these games.

Add to the fact that the sites that are BIG about SC1 or D2 or WC3 have so much more to offer than this site. And the WoW official forums will never be taken out as the "best wow forums".

No real support for SC2 other than 2 or 3 people posting the same blogs and **** and talking about it. No real community involvement in anything.

That said, I tried multiple times to either get something going (tournies, spamming the site in hundreds upon thousands of custom SC1/WC3 games, etc etc) or to tear it all down (was more successful with the later), and yet 10 years later this site is still around and kicking.

Kind of makes me want to buy it with some leftover harvest money and just shut it down once and for all. Like I planned too before crooked sold the site.

Also, "Max" had a lot to do with us going from "ok we might be able to get out of this **** pile" to "wow were so ****ed we might as well not even try".

Which everyone knows was really just Eric because he's just that ****ing nuts.

Also, if you REALLY want to know (not sure if I've told anyone this). I sold the site to someone (Max? Donny?) for 2k (had no idea what it was really worth obviously), sent the 2k to Crooked cause he gave the site to me for free and he obviously had to pay for it at some point and then whoever I sold it to made a couple improvements and flipped it to make a quick profit.

I moved to cali, got my 215 and turned a 4000 square foot house into a grow house, started with 150 plants, but about 70 of them turned out ****ty and didnt produce as much as I wanted. So yes, I'm a farmer.

Barney Stinson is right. The attempt to make this place "more wholesome" is what ruined it.
I admit I was probably part of that and I am sorry. Sometimes places just need a little bit of
everything to please everyone. If it's not hurting anyone then no harm done.
You pick your battles and by picking unecessary ones you may be

You (and eric) are assuming I'm selling this **** in the area around me, and not traveling 10 hours south to sell it for 4x the amount that it's worth up in Humboldt.

Not to mention the game I'm working on getting pounds upon pounds back to my boys in florida to distribute and send me cash.

And Op 19 won't pass. It's worded too loosely and 90% of the 'big growers' are completely against it - who have a lot more sway than most people give credit. It'll be close, and eventually (in the next few years) itll get to 100% legal, but not yet.

I'm in socal, dont forget, not norcal. obviously I didnt think you were selling water to the ocean up in emerald cali ut:. There is still good money to be had down here no doubt, and an even prettier penny just a few miles east.

@19 though, I was pretty certain it wouldn't pass for the longest time, but i'm not so sure these days. I'm obviously not banking on that **** passing, but it's the small buyers that will determine the vote not the big grower. and as far as I know, prop 19 is the only thing on the ballot this year with higher than 50% poll ratings at this point. not like those matter, but its fun to play the media game and pretend they do.
