Sure he was a cruel leader, tell us something we don't know. Yes, all of that may be true, but you know what? Bush promised us weapons of mass destruction. He used false accusations to start a war, and for that, it is totally un-justified. I'm sorry, but I won't be part of his lies and mind control. As someone said above, war should be a last resort, and that's it. It's the worst way to deal with things, and should only be used if absolutely necessary. Period.

As I've stated before, Saddam was a cruel dictator. That's granted. Yet the fact of the matter is, the US cannot act as a ****ing superhero. We have our own country to worry about, and we cannot go around taking down other countries because of people we simply do not like. IF we do this, and jump in at every cruelty, we will cause way more trouble for ourselves than necessary. More trouble on our economy, more trouble from our reputation, more trouble for our safety, just nothing but problems. Sometimes it's more wise to look out for yourself, than try to save the world.

I think that sums up my views on War in general.. As for the Iraq thing.. Lets see some action or get out of there. Nuke the sand into Glass, suck up the oil and then give the land to Israel, Turn our heads while they clean up any mess that's left.

Even though Bush didn't have a legitimate reason for going into Iraq the war was for the better. We need to look at it reasonably, Saddam Hussein was not running the country well at all. Even though they didn't have a reason someone would have to go into Iraq eventually, hopefully things will slowly improve over there. If not then it would be a waste.

While im personally against the war in Iraq, you must admit Bush didn't really have a choice. The UN (technically the countries taking part in the coalition) signed a treaty 6 months before the war started to investigate the rumors of Saddam's supposed WMDs. They then elected the US through a technicality to support the investigation forces in Iraq. Also, political melangeries involving Palestine, Isreal, Iran, Kazaackstan and other countries in the persian gulf area left the US with no choice but to move into Iraq in order to access the other countries believed to support terrorist training facilities and camps.

I do agree with CelestialBadger however that it is quite odd that the US seems to be ignoring North Korea which is by now a much greater hostile threat than the middle east.
