Haven't seen it yet, but I've been reading reviews online and there are some calling it one of the most awesome movies of all time. I'm so incredibly psyched about it, I nearly wet myself every time I see a preview on TV.

The first preview I ever saw, my parents were out of the room and I was like "OMFG, come in here you gotta see this!" I rewound it, let it play for them, all tense and eager (it was just the Mars lander teaser that doesn't show much), and they watched it quietly...when it ended and the name of the movie was revealed, my mom said "So?"

She just couldn't understand why I was so hyped up. She thought it was going to be animated. THEN, they went and saw a movie together in the theater that had the more complete trailer, and when they came home they were like OMFG I SEE NOW!

We're all pretty excited about it...can't wait to see it...opens here tomorrow...

I hear they even got the original Optimus Prime voice actor from the 80's cartoon...the reviews say that the attention to detail was astounding, and they really put the time and effort into making every shot kill.

Yeah, I'm bouncing up and down. I just found out that it's already in our theater, opened yesterday. It's weird, since the official launch date was supposed to be July 4th, but hell I'm not going to complain. I'm trying to talk the rents into going to see it sometime this week.

The girl in the movie is super hot, and I fell in love. Also, I want a car that can transform... Jazz or Bumblebee would be fine with me.

LOL, I saw it yesterday, special showing ^_^

Oh, and it is possible the best movie I have ever seen, although Optimus Prime's mouth creeped me out.

Michael Bay:

Directed both Armageddon & Pearl Harbor. Both were no-go's and now I great wonder how much of the Transformers he hacked up. e.i. Getting names wrong, wrong vehicles, ect. ect.

From what I hear in reviews, he did surprisingly well. Apparently Spielberg was involved as well, and I trust him to deliver.

I trust Spielberg, Peter Jackson, and Jessica Alba to deliver the goods.

i saw transformers.

let me be honest. this post is a spoiler

the voice acting is good. its got humor. a good story line. good animation. no, killer animation. but the downfall of the movie is INCREDIBLY CORNY dialogue. the wording in the movie is so shit, it might even be shittier than erics wording and we all know how shit eric is at writing a paragraph with good words.

I see our friend from Iraq is viewing! HELLO!!! :WAVES!!!

Anyway, I just got back from seeing it. Totally awesome movie! The story line was alright. I wanted to see more of the bad guys. They really didn't explain things too well. Like what the Cube was about, and why destroy its awesome powers that obviously could have been used for good. Regardless, good movie. Thumbs up. Totally recommend it......but as for Armageddon and Pearl Harbor.....

Terrible Movie.

Effects were good, voice acting was good (Hugo Weaving!). The Story line was a gargled mess which made little sense. Some of the fight scenes were the typical shaky camera with really short cuts making most of the action impossible to really follow. Points made it impossible to tell what ****ing transformer it was, especially when they were rolling around on eachother. Absolutely pretty much bland characters with no development. Hokey corny dialog.

Is jon voight in every movie now with a paycheck?
