Balthizar caught a quick glance over at Vadriel, he seems to have a bit of a dark side to him. He was starting to like him.

A tremendous pain erupted in his forearm, he looked and saw 3 arrows embeded in his arm. He pulled all three arrows out, not easily, and wrapped his arm with a piece of cloth from his shirt.

He could still swing with his right arm, but not with full strength, even if Hibiki and Michi gave him a little strength, he still had trouble lifting his arm.

The Shears of Atropos made a sickening thud as they embedded themselves in the meaty flesh of Thaltos' target's abdomen and sucked the energy out of the man.

Thaltos grinned darkly and his eyes flashed with bloodlust as he allowed the emaciated body to slide down and off the Shears to flop on the ground at his feet. His look of complete satisfaction was replaced with a fleeting tinge of pain that faded into rage as he felt a vertical slash draw itself across his back. One of his hair tentacles was severed at the end, and it squirmed on the ground like a beheaded snake as Thaltos roared with anger and spun on his attacker.

The warrior was drawing back his sword for another strike when he discovered one of the Shears of Atropos had found a new nesting place in his throat, and he gurgled his death cries as his body withered and shriveled as his electrical energy poured into the blade of the weapon.

Thaltos jerked the Shear out, nearly decapitating the corpse as it crumpled to the ground, and a spark of static energy danced out from the weapon and across his back, cauterizing the wound to prevent much blood loss.

Thaltos turned to see Balthizar stumbling slightly, obviously wounded. Another of the enemies that seemed in limitless supply had launched himself into the air and was about to bring his broadsword down onto Balthizar's head, and Thaltos snarled.

He triggered the better part of the energy remaining in the Shears and funneled it into himself, focusing it in an area just behind his eyes.

Ghostly crimson energy blasted out from his eyes in a transparent, yet solid and cohesive beam that jetted across the distance between him and Balthizar's attacker, hitting the airborne enemy fully in the chest and continuing to pass through to hit some of the trees behind him.

The attacker was instantly converted into magical Gorgon stone, as were the treetops that received the splashover of the beam. The suddenly much denser and heavier enemy plummeted to the ground and shattered on impact, chunks of himself flying everywhere to minorly wound several nearby enemies. Further back, the sudden weight of the treetops that were also frozen caused the remaining living wood to crack under the strain, and stone latticework of the upper leaves collapsed onto three enemies emerging from the treeline.

The Shears nearly spent, and Balthizar's life spared, Thaltos paused only for a moment to nod at Balthizar, then turned to the remaining enemies to begin replenishing the power supply within the Shears.

Balthizar showed his thanks to Thaltos with a simple smile, then turned back to combat. He adjusted his stance to make up for his wounded arm, a sloppy stance, but effective. He parried one of the attacker's slash, and kicked him in the chest, he then slashed through his abdomen, splaying his internal organs on the ground. He then started running towards a group of enemies, unaware of his presence, he leapt into the air, and sliced 3 of them in half simaltaneously.

Balthizar shouted, "There's too many of them! We could keep this up forever, and will acomplish nothing, we will just get tired, which will lead in our eventual deaths. We need to leave now!"

Seeing that what was going on with Torque might take a while, Kainus decided to leave the building walking into the open area. Breathing in the nice crisp smelling air, Kainus started to walk a little further, when out of nowhere a dagger flew across and landed right in Kainus's chest. Feeling weakened, Kainus started to stagger, getting hit by a bunch of arrows in his back. Kainus started to feel anger inside of him for walking into a trap, he should of sensed the smell of evilness in the air, blood soaking Kainus's pants. Kainus tried to standup, and fell again and was hit with a bunch of arrows into his arms. When a vampire loses blood they start to feel anger and rage. It was then that Kainus was starting to see what Zeus meant when he had left Mount Olmypus. Kainus started to feel the pain in his body increase, taking his two blades and placing them on the ground in front of him he started to focus his energy into the blades, and then with one swift move the blades flew in both directions becoming powered by a ghostly power they did battle with the enemies. Kainus on the brink of death, screamed as loud as he could "HELP ME ZEUS, I NED YOU TO GIVE ME THE POWER TO HEAL MYSELF WITHOUT BLOOD, HEAL ME, SO I CAN WALK ONCE MORE." As Kainus finished saying this he fell onto the ground, laying in his own pool of blood, and actually feeling defeated, his skin slowly got paler, his mind racing and remembering that he couldn't give up but his body was almost to death and he was ridden of energy.

 

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"...I..I ...can't see...." She fell foreward slightly.Bracing on the swords weakly. She had lost more blood than a normal person would and still be able to stand. Her demon side was trying to keep up but was failing. "Balthizar.....as soon as I finish here...please take me to the nearest temple....or I will perish...." She dropped the swords folding her hands together beginning to speak in short words." Saiten Kouten Tenjo!" She held her hands out as two large waves of Purple and blue aura lashed out touching anything in its path. Anything evil touched by the heavenly scriptures would disengrate anything good would be untouched. She fell foreward no longer able to continue her breathing was shallow and she was no longer in the waking world if not taken soon she would surely die.

Balthizar rushed over to Asakai, still amazed by the sudden rush of power, and felt for a pulse. "She is still alive, but barely, she said to bring her to a temple, I vaguely remember one at least a mile away? I shall carry her, you lead the way. But we must make haste, lest we lose poor Asakai forever....."
Balthizar picked up Asakai and put her over his shoulders, ignoring the intensifying pain in his arm, and started to sprint in the direction of the temple.

Kainus, lying there almost dead, felt the power of his swords returning to him the blood they had drained from the enemies, coming back into his hands, he felt blood rushing through his body, it still was not enough to have him come back from the brink of death, he was currently still in a nightmare, fighting off the titans that were trying to destroy his father and grandfather and zeus at the same time. This nightmare raged on, all of a sudden he felt a strong energy source nearby him, he could feel it getting closer and closer. He struggled to open his eyes, and he then saw his father and grandfather standing beside him, they were formulating some kind of blood mixture that would heal Kainus, he was all of a sudden regaining energy and very quickly. Starting to regain complete sense of reality, he started to stand. When he felt his body all around he saw no blood on the ground no wounds, no arrows or daggers. Just his father grandfather and himself with his swords. His grandfather and father had two new weapons for him, as far as he could tell. They took the current weapons from him, and gave him the new weapons. He asked "What do these new swords do?" They responded as one "They are our swords, we both had one sword. The right hand sword sucks blood and can heal you. While the left hand sword can turn you into anything you want, it is the sword of shapeshifting, as well as it can enhance your summoning skills." Nodding Kainus bowed to his grandfather and father as they started to disappear. Amazed by what had just happened, he turned around to see Torque staring at him, amazed by what he just saw. Kainus laughed while saying "You never saw my father and grandfather obviously, so no need to worry about their godly powers, they are just like any other vampire on the inside."

((Wtf? Dude, this shit is so ****ing random. When you were laying on the ground, very weak, how could you send your swords out to fight and siphon the energy of your oponents, unless you have swords with minds of their own, you should've been too weak to control them.))

Thaltos and Balthizar cleaned up the remaining warriors, who had seemed to have lost a bit of their will to fight after being met with the strength of their opponents.

"Quickly, before we are attacked again...on to the next town."

Each of them taking one of Asakai's arms over his shoulder, Thaltos and Balthizar hustled off to the next town.

Balthizar said without derailing his gaze, "Thaltos, Asakai is slipping ever faster, we need to double time it!"

(( That's not right, just because I'm not good at rping doesn't mean you should ban me from doing a story line part. That's basically why I hate rping. I try to get back into it, and then the same thing happens again.))

Kainus not knowing anyone was, decides to wait. Muttering words of annoyance he says "Why doesn't anyone trust me, no-one likes me, I should be considered their elder, since I am the oldest most trusted and most experienced." Shrugging off his anger, Kainus starts to search for his so-called friends. He can sense the way they think about him especially eversince zeus gave him the most recent power of reading peoples thoughts. He sensed from Thaltos his closest teammate that there was no-sense of trust between them. Balthizar, had thoughts of anger against him. He could really careless about the others anyway. Although Asakai caught his attention with her thoughts, he couldn't really be bothered by her thoughts he only hoped she could survive alongside him.

 

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

'...So...dark...I must have lost to the waking world....or I died....no....I couldn't have died ....'. In her mind she wandered her body was trying to heal and she had been here once before. 'M-mother?' She thought as she saw a woman with approach her. 'I am not your mother. I am a relative of yours though. I have to say you're pretty stupid trying to take the saiten scripture into your body knowing it would be too much for you. But I honor your courage to test it.' Asakai growled at the strange woman.'I am not stupid.' The woman came into veiw better for her it was Midoriko the first woman of her family. She was the great Priestess of legend who sacrificed herself to save her people. She was a beautiful woman of average height and looks common to the Eastern region.' Becareful. With each scripture you obtain the more danger you will come to face. It also means the closer you will be to losing yourself. Hold on to yourself just a little longer...defy your stars...defy Daemon's will.' Midoriko smiled at her before leaving her mind.' ...defy my stars?' Her last thought before everything got darker. her body was beginning to become colder at a much faster rate.

Balthizar saw the edge of the town, just in time, because at that very moment, Asakai grew very cold. "Thaltos! we are about to lose Asakai! You must take her, you are faster than me, and I am injured, I shall catc......"

And then Balthizar collapsed.
