And seriously, closing the Asylum to get [good] activity is the easy path. You don't wanna take the easy path because it seldom is the best solution.

Honestly, Soulless is the logical candidate for mod of the asylum. He already has moderation powers, his constant activity would allow for quick splitting of garbage threads, he was around in the good old days, and he has already asked to mod it. Since you're considering closing it, would giving Soulless reign over it for two weeks really be that big a deal?

The fact is people will always bitch at people no matter what... if you never became admin people would still be flaming at flea and his "small penis." I do get a giggle how souless is mod again... after so many "Never Agains!"

But honestly be happy that so many people hate you... its brought life to the asylum with coherent and well thought out flames... Something that hasn't happened in quite some time. Flaming in general is hard enough based off of assumptions of people real lives, or lack there of.

But with you you have been doing things such as the PMs, Disbanning people from BStaff, SC2 Contests. These are things that have substance and people are able to construct good flames.

The reason why the asylum is constantly reopened is obvious; the status quo is the most effective. And I'm positive my trial-period system I proposed would prove just that.
