Yup, Im leaving. :scary

First, I want to say a special thanks to everyone who befriended me on Battle Forums and who gave me a warm welcome, as temporary as it was. You guys rule .

I apologize to anyone who was expecting for me to stay for specific reasons. A certain event has made me realize that I am wasting my time trying to contribute to a forum based on computer gaming.

I shall explain the big reason I am leaving BF:

Summitalos / TheSummit has recently reset my post count because I made a joke about a post which I notoriously called "My Birthday!" I was very frustrated with this, considering that I believe I have dedicated a fair share to the forums, rarely spamming. If you don't agree, check out some of my posts in The Arcane Sanctuary and some in The Asylum, plus the Stacraft forums. Considering the length of them, I wouldnt exactly call my goal to be "to spam as much as possible."

People spam on these forums every day, constantly. I am the only I have seen who has had my post count reseted. I strongly disagree with the punishment that has been placed upon me, but Summatalos is God, and I am not going to waste time trying to convince him that his actions against me were unjust. I also feel that I have wasted my time trying to help this forum by staying active. I make one joke, and I get harsh retaliation.

Going from 700 posts, many of them sincere, to 10 posts, is a bit staggering. I realize that Im not as appreciated as I might have once thought.

And, I am not posting this to defame TheSummit in anyway. Its just the way I felt.

I posted this so I wont be remembered as a bad guy =P.

This has also been somewhat of wakeup call. I shouldnt be wasting my life on video games anymore, Im too old for them =P (17). I will probably abandon all SC / Blizzard games and concentrate on my studies from now on. So, in an abstract way, I want to thank TheSummit.

I want to wish all of you guys the best of luck. You have made my stay here a fun and exciting time. You guys modded N_LeGeNd) for gods sake..he got 1.8k posts in 4 months..I mean come on..

Whatever, if BF is starting to head towards the way it was when you were warning people for saying "roxxorz my soxxorz"..then I'm outta here.

Sorry Viz =/. You were definetly becoming a good friend of mine, and I regret having to depart so soon.

TheSummit has generously sent me a private message saying that he will restore my post count if so desired.

But, he said that he has received negative feedback about my posts, which can only mean one thing: I am somewhat unwelcome here.

I am dissapointed that I have been viewed negatively by some, but that happens with everyone. If I have pissed off anyone in my time here, I apologize.

I will still depart from bF, after SC and all computer games; I realize that I have bigger fish to fry than a post count.

Once again, I wish the best of luck to all of you.

I was bound to leave anyway.

2) I need to get away from my addiction to BF, SC, and all that stuff.

3) Yes, Ive made some mistakes, and I apologize for those.

4) Criticizing someone who will only remain here for one more day is sort of pointless.. and I wanted this to be a farewell to all of the people I knew here, not a conversation about why Im leaving.

The people you mentioned have been with BF for at least a year. Ive been on for a month. Theres quite a difference.

Also, if you think Im just pouting, then dont. I have already relayed Retirement messages to the other forums I post on.

I realized after agonizing over a post count how addicted I was. I mean, a fucl<ing post count! Who really cares?!

And besides, I am a spammer, I should leave.

Anyway.. its my decision, I am Leaving. Forever.

Bla bla, double post. I want to unmuddle a few things.

- I posted a joke about a birthday thread, when it really wasnt my birthday.

- TheSummit send the topic to the void and set my post count to 1.

- I sent TheSummit a PM to get my post count back

- I realized how concerned I was with a something as stupid as a post count, and I then decided that it was finally time for me to worry about bigger things in life.

- I decided to write out my farewells to everyone who made my stay a blast.

- TheSummit also declares that people have had negetive assertions about my posts. I decide then that my BF / SC life is over.

- I never tried to falsly accuse TheSummit. I posted a message saying that he generously offered me a post count before he put up his message saying that I "missed something."

You accuse me of spamming and other treason, but you also want me to say so that you don't look bad.

At least Viz gave me a nice goodbye. I never wanted to have a quarrel with TheSummit, even though I figured I might get one with the way I worded my first post in this thread.

Ive made my share of mistakes here, and I am not trying to get out of them. I am deeply sorry if I made anyone elses stay uncomfortable.

I wanted to go out with a bang, but now, a lot of people will probably just remember me as an asshole. Thanks, Summit.

And put my post count back to 10. Itll be symbolic if I go out that way =P.

Rygon, i really honestly liked you from the very beginning, even though you were here for a month, you really did bring some much-needed life into the Starcraft forums. I knew that whenever i logged on and viewed the SC Forums, there would always be a thread i could reply to with eagerness.

Please don't leave. Not over this.

Wow quite pitiful that all this hatred is going around. Who cares about post counts? Who cares about the reason why someone is leaving. He can always come back. Maybe the kid wants to see the sunlight and go out. Who knows his honest reason for leaving?

Well, the only quarrells I had with rygon was that:

a) He argued against gay marriage but he stepped down into a neutral position after some debate.

b) He assumed that he could type 5x times faster than anyone else.

c) He lied about only spending one hour a night on battleforums.

d) I wasn't on that list but many people he knew even less were.

e) He was very sarcastic when I confronted him.

f) I saw quite a bit of "spam" from him (in one thread). Not quite spam but he treated the Arcane sanctuary like the aylsum and it was off topic.

g) He posted way too much for my tastes(It was obvious that he cared about post count).

H) He posted threads that had already been done too many times.

Things I liked about rygon

A)

g) He posted way too much for my tastes(It was obvious that he cared about post count).

I'm not really arsed about that.

c) He added a extra bit of zing to the forums.

d) He posted for the most part sensibly and he didn't post many 1 liners. His posts were pretty long even in the Asylum.

e) He had some good views on some stuff.

f) He wasn't one of them bullshit patroitic Americans and he doesn't like Bush.

g) He rarely spammed.

h) He comes out as a good gut to me I can't really find many faults with his personality.

Do I support the summits decision?: Yes. If people were complaining then he had a right to do something about it and it wasn't a very harsh considering post counts don't really matter. The summit was fair and even offered him +100 posts if he could show some examples of his good posts. The summit did good and it was in his rights to give Rygon a bit of a warning.

Do I want Rygon to leave?: No. He added a bit of zest to the forums and he had some similar views on things as me. He wasn't a major spammer and even though he posted too much it was refreshing because I could actually answer to something instead of waiting for ages. I think it is stupid to leave because I have like quit games since BF and the only reason I'm here is because of the intellegent discussions in the AS. The AS has actually improved my spelling and grammar and helped me get unbelievably HIGHER scores in tests than before. It has increased my knowledge greatly in the short time I was here; it is better than studying.

Will I leave in Rygon does?: No. I'm not going to leave over something so petty as this and this forums benifits me a lot so it would be a waste to leave now.

Do I think Rygon is too old for games?: Not neccesarily I don't think playing games 24-7 at 17 is good but I don't see any harm in a game now and then. He isn't too old for BF and I'm sure that the AS can help him with his education.

Conclusion: I like Rygon here. I do not think he should leave over something like this. Ignore the summit he was doing what he thought was right and I do not think he is the kind of guy who keeps a grudge. Staying here won't make you play more games. You have shown that you are resourceful and it was pretty fun with you here. Remember the time when some wrote crooked and roach own rygon all over the void . He is cool for the most part and I will sorta miss the contribution he made to the forums; he was very dedicated to these forums.

You should consider yourself welcome, I disliked you at first but not to a great extent and that has changed. Lots of people enjoy the forums better with you here. I say stick here a bit longer than one week; don't rush into things, sleep on it. Don't make anyone regret you being here in the first place. You are beneficial to the forums and the forums can be benificial to you if you give it a chance.

At lot of mods spam more than Rygon but they never get any shit like this = /. The summit wrote a 3 word sentence just then. A lot of people get warned and don't leave, I don't see why rygon should leave because of it. I truly depise jackalopes, he had a fast post count but it was all spam why don't we get rid of him or take all his post counts away. I complain about him alot but nothing gets done about it.

Again, false accusations and the fact that you leave because of your postcount (which supports my thesis of the spamming) are not the best things to do.

And you are sure that you are old enough? I do not know a lot of 17 year old guys that

a) would leave because of a 3day postcount removal
b) would leave because some people classify his posts as spam
c) would think that classifying posts as spam has anything do with disliking somebody
d) try to give others the fault for their mistakes (yes, you spammed a lot and now you try to fix everything on the birthday thread?)
