You know, if you made a valid point about why i should bury myself in a hole, you might reflect a little less badly on pro- bush people. Of all the pro-bush people on here, bamthedoc is the only one who is mature and reasonable.Jaguar, phreakerhaxxor, bushforemperor:you really aren't making us any more supportive of bush by acting stupid and immature...the best way to support bush is to shut up.

Well no, the best way to support Bush would be by making intelligent posts and comments. To counter the "anti-bush" people, with reasonable reponses. If that cant be done, then shut up, which may be the case here :\

As I have said before, Bush is a very good president considering what he has been forced to go through. Everything he has done has been in support of the American people. He has not in any way tried to backstab us. Him and his staff are doing their hardest to get America back on the right track in all areas and in all ways. He is trying to help the youth, the elderly, educational system, military people, and the general population.

What exactly is everyones arguement? What has Bush done himself, without any outside influence (i.e. Tower bombings), that is so terrible?

He has shown himself unable to actually get anything done. Granted, he is trying, but trying will not do anything.

It is not George Bush's fault if Congress and the Senate or too stubborn to see sense. He is trying and he will succede. This is the point, he has proven himself determined and it will happen. To do so, he only needs to be re-elected :p

My main qualm with Bush is all the fundings he has cut from the enviroment, and education, and how he has done nothing constructive.

Anopther big one is letting the PA pass.

Uh... Education funding is up from Clinton's time... Also, environmental funding is up since, at least, 2001.

yeah but i think its a pretty bad idea to start a "war" agaisnt terrorism it just made america and britain majour terrorist targets.
its not like you can target a country and say ALL TERRORISTS ARE HERE! its just giving them a "warning".

If You're Happy And You Know It - Bomb Iraq.
If you cannot find Osama, bomb Iraq.
If the terrorists are frisky,
Pakistan is looking shifty,
North Korea is too risky,
Bomb Iraq....

Bush's first few months in office.
1.Cut $39 million from federal spending on librarys
2.Cut $35 million on advanced pediatric training.
3.Delayed Rules that would ruduce "acceptable" levels of arsenic in drinking water. (Not really on topic, but realivent.)
4.Cut $60 million in funing to the Boys and Girls of America
5.Cut $200 million in funding from Childcare and Development programs.
6.Passeda bill saying No student involved in even a misdeamenor drug charge can no longer get finacial aid. (Funny thing is Bush has been Given two DUI's which are both felonys, and a suspected coke head, "before 1975...")
7. Cut 15.7 million from Child Abuse programs.

~Source Stupid White Men

Now not that all of these are strictlly education, they are all about the raising of children, and there healthcare...

1) I, as many others, believe that the federal government has no right to dictate to libraries lest they be federal libraries. It is the state's responsiblity to manage state libraries and local's responsibility to manage local libraries. I supported this decision.

2) I don't believe the government has any business dictating how businesses (including medical) advance. They can sponsor, but not pour in support.

3) He likes to be a diplomat between environmental and business organizations. He wanted a full report, and I don't see the harm as business were preparing for the bill, anyway.

4) Uh... Never put all your eggs in one basket. Bush elected to cut funding here in order to diversify "child care" organizations. I believe the cut helped to budget more into Boy Scouts, JROTC, Big Brother/Sister, and others.

5) Again: Government has no business dictating how businesses carry out their, uh, business. It should sponser, never support.

6) Bush has admitted that he made mistakes (DUI), and he is honest enough that I believe him when he says he never did coke. Alcohal is not a drug. A drug, by his bill, is any illegal substance.

7) Again, he believes in diversifying where this funding goes. The government was denying funding to good organizations just because they had a religious affiliation (Christian, Jewish, etc.).
