Rofl. Thats not even close to what happened. In fact it is the exact opposite of the truth.

Bush, yes Bush, won the vote in Florida by 300-odd votes. Gore cried to the Florida courts, saying the ballots were wrong and some were uncounted. So, to make him happy, they recounted. The result: Bush won now by 900 votes, Gores plan backfired.

So Gore, still whining, cried to the courts again, asking for another recount. But this time, the United States Supreme Court, by a vote of 5-4, ruled it unconstitutional. The next day, Gore conceded. He knew he lost fair and square.

Do your research, pal. Dont make such statements when you do not know your facts.

The Newscasts initially reported that Gore won, but then later on they changed it when all of the votes were in.

Really? I was pretty much watching it live, and, at least the station I was watching, NEVER said Gore won. Ever.

Bush's net worth was at $24 million at the end of last year.
Bush jr. yes. Nush sr. is way richer than that, and he and his friends are who are running the country so they are probally putting up all of the money...

The whole fiasco started because Jeb bush had the idea to strike 10,000 mainlly african american voters off of the voting rolls. 1000's of which were not felons but had names or birthdays close to our on the same day as actual felons.

Bush won by 300 votes with alot of questinable counting. Gore wanted a recount and with hours left in the election with Bush only up by a couple hundred votes with nothing but democratic counties left the supreme court threw the recount out and elected bush.

A lot of the time it shows what they did after and it doesn't give specifics and it is used to scare the enemy troops.

He got voted because of his stupid family.

I believe he was referring to that Geraldo guy. I think I remember him being the one who was giving away specific unit locations. I cant quite remember, its quite hazy....:9

You really need to get over this. Get past it. We know you dont like Bush or his family or anyone he has ever come in close contact with. Great. Now stop posting snit like this. We are tired of hearing it as we continue to try and have a intelligent discussion about the truth of what happened. Blatant opinion in the worst opportune time doesnt help anything.

Yeah, it was Geraldo on Fox News. He was doing a live broadcast, and he drew out a rough map of Iraq. He then drew a little circle where his unit was and was explainging how quickly they were going.

Dumn shat? Well, thats a new one. I'm talking about stating there where abouts before the big invasion, some Iraqi soilders would've wimped out because of seeing the sheer numbers and the yanks didn't really care because they think of themselves as unstoppable and would hope for a more conventional war. Anyway the civilians would bomb where they are even without the info news gives us and they wont have a percise position just roughly where they would be(except that geraldo guy if he did give specifics).
Really? I was pretty much watching it live, and, at least the station I was watching, NEVER said Gore won. Ever.

How do you think bush graduated from yale? Or avoided drafting to Vietnam? Or where do you think the money came from for his campagne? If he wasn't born in that family he wouldn't of gotten anywhere. His family have been pulling strings for him his whole life.

This doesn't even dignify are real response...'

I do find it ironic however that Bush passed a bill that would not let convicted drug users draw finacial aid in college while he himself has had multiple DUI's and a suspected cocaine problem.

Orcy-Poo I have to tell ya I agree with ya on this one.

Bush's HS grades were 75%. How does that get into Yale, oh wait Daddy did it for him.

Bush was a prime age target for Vietnam, unlike Clinton who went to Canada, Dubbya had Daddy get him out of it. At least Clinton did it on his own.

The Media is VERY conservative and will shape the news to the public the way they want it to be seen. So don't believe everything on TV, use common sense.

Bush won b/c of Jed and his Daddy. Gore who I didn't want to win, but I didn't want Bush either (the way most of the country thought) at least campaigned w/o Daddy's money.

Bush founded this war based on the fact that Saddam tried to kill his Daddy. Its like Pizarro's past. Where he killed De Almagra and then Almagra's son's kill him and then Pizarro's son's kill Almagra's sons.

But it was based on Daddy and oil. We should have been focused on the Al-Quieda. Look what they did now to Spain. We should have Osama in custody right now not Saddam. Granted in the future we should have, but Clinton should have gone after Saddam b/c history repeats itself. And look at the appeasment of Hitler, 13 years the UN let Saddam do what he wanted. Saddam needed to go but Osama was/is needed first.

Bush blows, can't control the economy, now 9/11 did happen but you need to bounce back better than what we have.

Bush needs to go back to owning the Texas Rangers, b/c he was at least a much better owner than Tom Hicks.

Uh huh, thats very nice.
I dont know about his high-school grades, so...source?

George W. Bush served in the United States National Guard. He served our country, he even tried to get into Vietnam, but he couldnt.

Hold on. You think the media is conservative? Are we talking about America?

The United States' media is incredibly liberal biased. Save for a few exceptions nearly everything is liberal. New York Times, CNN, NBC, and ABC, just to name a few.

No, Bush won because he had more votes. This was even proven further via recount, on Gores behalf. kthx

Are we now penalizing people because they come from a rich family? Is that against the law now? Jebus, you cant fault Bush because he, and his father, are both good businessmen. There is nothing wrong with that...

No, not really. This war was because of Saddam. Saddam and his unexcusable actions and constant disobedience to the UN's regulations.

But it was based on Daddy and oil. We should have been focused on the Al-Quieda. Look what they did now to Spain. We should have Osama in custody right now not Saddam.
Heh, we could have already had him, had Clinton done what he should have. We had the oppurtunity to get Osama from the Sudanese government back in the 90's, but we passed that chance up. Now look what your hero, Clinton, has caused us.

But Saddam is just a great of threat. He has caused 20x as many deaths, among his own people and the surrounding nations. America cannot serperate ourselves from the rest of the world. When countries are being bullied by their neighbor, we must help them along with the rest of the UN nations.

Granted in the future we should have, but Clinton should have gone after Saddam b/c history repeats itself. And look at the appeasment of Hitler, 13 years the UN let Saddam do what he wanted. Saddam needed to go but Osama was/is needed first.
Both are needed, one is done. Dont for a second think we do not have Special Forces and Intell agents out in the field right now looking for this guy.

Bush blows, can't control the economy, now 9/11 did happen but you need to bounce back better than what we have.
Better? Is an economy that is as high as it was in the mid 90's, during a time of peace, not good enough?

Bush needs to go back to owning the Texas Rangers, b/c he was at least a much better owner than Tom Hicks.
Sure. :\

Bush said it in a speech to a group of highschool kids. He gave a speech. I really don't rember what he said, and I can't find Stupid White Men which had the quote and the source.

George W. Bush served in the United States National Guard. He served our country, he even tried to get into Vietnam, but he couldnt.
BUsh used his dads influnce in congress to get him a spot in the national gaurd, if he wanted to go to vietnam he would have
a.Let himself be drafted
or
b.Joined the army

No, Bush won because he had more votes. This was even proven further via recount, on Gores behalf. kthx
Actually Bush lost in the total vote count by over 600,000 votes. He won the electorial vote because of alot of questinable things going on. Now it is true that Al Gore demanded a recount and got one sort of, but when it looked like Gore was going to win the Supreme court froze the recount and declared Bush the winner.

Jebus, you cant fault Bush because he, and his father, are both good businessmen. There is nothing wrong with that...
Actually Bush's father and grandfather were good buisness men, bush jr. is a horrible one. He has never had a venture that has not been paid for by his father and then failed miserablly...

I think thats fake, he would've of gotten about 50%
George W. Bush served in the United States National Guard. He served our country, he even tried to get into Vietnam, but he couldnt.
Ah, lights, I didn't know you had a sense of humour.
The United States' media is incredibly liberal biased. Save for a few exceptions nearly everything is liberal. New York Times, CNN, NBC, and ABC, just to name a few.
They don't show a lot of things that incriminate Bush, sigh.
Are we now penalizing people because they come from a rich family? Is that against the law now? Jebus, you cant fault Bush because he, and his father, are both good businessmen. There is nothing wrong with that...
Why doesn't jr.Bush follow his father completely like he has been doing, only last one term. The bad thing is that his fathers ways got him elected. The good thing is his dads ways didn't get him relected. We don't penalize him because he is rich, we penalize him because he's a daddys boy that has had everything done for him.
Heh, we could have already had him, had Clinton done what he should have. We had the oppurtunity to get Osama from the Sudanese government back in the 90's, but we passed that chance up. Now look what your hero, Clinton, has caused us.
He kept the Al-queda off your back for a couple of years...
But Saddam is just a great of threat. He has caused 20x as many deaths, among his own people and the surrounding nations. America cannot serperate ourselves from the rest of the world. When countries are being bullied by their neighbor, we must help them along with the rest of the UN nations.
You were like a kid with some toys butting in while a teacher was telling a bully off.

He is the only president since hoover to lose jobs. I will edit this later.

Bush's pants are on fire. You know, from all the lieing he does

ON THE ECONOMY:GEORGE BUSH: “[W]e will not pass along our problems to...other generations.â€
THE TRUTH: $1.9 trillion in new debt over 5 years, with deficits continuing thereafter.
ON TAX CUTS:
GEORGE BUSH: “The tax relief is for everyone who pays income taxes...Americans will keep, this year, an average of almost $1,000 more of their own money.â€
THE TRUTH: Nearly half of all taxpayers get less than $100. And 31% of all taxpayers get nothing at all
ON SOCIAL SECURITY:
GEORGE BUSH: “[W]e continue to work together to keep Social Security sound and reliable.â€
THE TRUTH: The costs of the Bush tax cuts exceed by 3 times the entire projected short fall in Social Security.
ON JOBS:
GEORGE BUSH: “Our first goal is...an economy that grows fast enough to employ every man and
woman who seeks a job.â€
THE TRUTH: Bush is the first President since Hoover to preside over an economy that has
lost jobs, not created them – more than 2.9 million since 2001.
ON THE ENVIRONMENT:
GEORGE BUSH: “[My] Clear Skies legislation...mandates a 70% cut in air pollution from
power plants over the next 15 years.â€
THE TRUTH: The Bush plan will allow more than 100,000 additional premature deaths by 2020 than alternative legislation developed by the Environmental Protection Agency. The plan does not regulate carbon emissions and allows far more sulfur and mercury emissions.
ON EDUCATION:
GEORGE BUSH: “[W]e achieved historic education reform – which must now be carried out in every school and in every classroom.â€
THE TRUTH: Bush cut $8 billion from the promised funds for education.
Lieing

Heh... I wonder what people going to think when Iraq is put on hold and the real war comes. Bush, president of 2005, confronting North Korea. What ever happend to Americans, we are so spoiled now days, we think that everything can be handled with a sit down and signing of papers, but in the real world it doesn't happen like that. The truth is that only the strong dominate, thats why people like Saddam Hussien, Osama Bin Laden/The Taliban, Hitler, ect., run countrys. How the hell do you think we became a country, we didn't ask Britian to let us be independent and they sent us a fruit basket, they said no and we fought and they gave in.

Im not in a thinking mood, but this is how I see it. The World is a vine of grapes, Iraq is just, that one bad grape, North Korea, is the swarm of Locus eating away everything.

And anothering thing, the death toll is near 600 now I think, we are in a WAR. Look at any past US War and the death rates excede it many times (yes there was probaly a few that weren't as bad). Oh and onto my views of Bush, Bush is a great president whos had a bad term, Kerry is a man who'll do anything for a vote. I think Bush is going to win, a few months ago, Bush was leading the polls by around, 60% I think, the largest lead in US History that early in a race, usually its spread out when there are many canidates, oh well, just my view...
