#1 I plan on going to Digipen in Virginia as a plan B (first is a UC skool) because graduates get an IMMEDIATE job at nintendo, sega, microsoft (mebbe this one cuz they get paid more), Valve and Capcom. If not the cubicle life for me.

#2 Jason, Jason, Jason. first off i know you are 17ish and hopefully she is too. If he EVER sees you with her, i will be the one identifying you at the morgue because soldiers KILL for a living.
Btw: my suggestion is to be "close" friends but dont get serious because she will hurt you because she has probably been in a physical relationship with soldier boy because that is the only reason that a guy his age would be with a girl that young.

for problem 1: i suggest going to a comminuty college for a couple of years after you have an idea and if you want to further your education to get a better job just transfer to a 4 year?

Try to keep as many options open as you can, and don't close any doors, you could end up changing your mind, or not being able to get a job you like right away, so a variety of skills is good to have. I don't really know about the girl but I would say if you like her stick with it (assuming the army guy is no longer going out with her), and if she really does like you she won't mind if you need to move out of state because she will know it's best. If you don't want to move because of money that can be hard, I hope I get a few scholarships so I can actually pay for school.

I think you need to go to college. Think about it you probabally might lose track of you high school friends and nowadays the only thing you can do without a college degree is flip burgers at mccy d's. Here's what I would do. First of all you are not going to get anywhere buying a "mansion" with six friends. Quite frankly thats just gay plus it will never work out at all. Self reliance is key. Secondly go to college and do what you want to do, even if it means moving out of state. Say goodbye to your friends and hello to a successful life, you can't let them hold you back so get over it you pussy. Thirdly take the girl. Like her? Of course you do so take her. That dude in the army can go bang one of his army friends instead.

Look at it this way if you decide to go to an out of state college, you'll always meet new people and who knows maybe you and your new friends can get a house together. It gives you the chance to do more of what you want and a step closer to a career.

Well, problem #1: Go for community college. See how you feel bout everything. If you end up still wanting to do Game Design try to get into a nice college. If that ain't happnin find a college that has a sturdy GFX course (which it should) then I'd advise taking that. My main question is, do you have a GOOD back-up plan that could keep you happy but still support you?

Problem #2: Go for the gold man, LOTZ OF BUTTSECKZ (and i do mean that in the most serious manner). If she likes you then she'll dump him for you. If she can't 'make upher mind' then shes jus playin ya. BUT if she does choose you and he starts buggin, **** him up. Have some of your buds back you. If he beats the shit out of you then you can file charges. I have a feeling his officers wouldn't like it if he kicked the crap outta a highschooler. Then again if he gets discharged he might hunt you down....
