OOC: Who said you HAVE to use them?

The Gears, like I said, are NOT very big. They're just a bit bulkier than the suits, and are worn OVER the suits.

The Gears are useful for the rescue op because we are evac-ing the Civvies, not actually pulling them out.

One can exit the Gear if one needs to.

Gears are more enduring than the suits, and can be used to reach things.

The Gears can be piloted by your AI separately, to be used in holding off the Nagalisk.

*Leo armed out his suit and got inside the Gear. Once inside, he ran it through the the checks and booting. After the diagnostics, Tex op-ed in.*

Leo: What?

Tex: The Gear. He says his name is John.

Leo: The Gears have AIs?

Tex: No, but they have a personality... in a way, they are living.

Leo: I understand.

Dexter equips these to the Paradox

Light Autocannon (right arm)

Pepperbox (torso right and left)

Light Hand Grenade (left arm)

Low Light (makes regular sight a wireframe style easier for sniping) it's color coded to all gear's damage reports. even enemies blue = fine yellow = so so red = critical. the colors show up on each main part Head, Torso, Legs (seperate) and arms (seperate)

Jetpack = slows down the gear but makes them jump extremely high.

Wheels = in all gears but the fliers adds faster movement but less traction. can be switched on and off

Auto Balance = enables the gear to walk on one leg if the other is blown off

Simon seems to have new strength and he limps out of bed and suits up he rushes to the hagar and enters his gear and hooks Tek up

Dexter walks to his gear and hooks Ivan up.

Ivan: powering up... power up complete. This is B-03 reporting

Tek: YEA! FUN! Power up complete. B-01 online.

Ivan: now proceding with manuvering procedures.

Tek: roger

Tek and Ivan test out their gear's maneuvering

Ryu: hey wait up!

Tex: Squad Leader Online... Let's head out the 'locks. We're gonna train in free-space.

Sam: Isn't that kinda dangerous? And what about the atmospeherics? We'll weigh less than on the planet!

Leo: Hey, none of us are as smart as an AI construct. Don't argue with her.

Tex: Don't be so flatterind, you cold killing machine you. Let's go.

*The Gears head outside onto the face of the asteroid for deep-space training.*

Tex: its called anti grav. and if i had arms id bash you on the head.

Tek: the gears can do that

Ivan: i hate to say it...but...Ryu, Jaguars arent made for space.

Ryu: really? oh shiznit! *flys back to the space station*

Ivan: ground scouts jaguars.

Simon: Tek do me a favor and let the controls to me

Tek: right away boss.

Simon: YEEEHAAWWW!! this keeps getting better and better! but my weapons arent made for space except the autorifle and the rockets

a comm channel is opened up.each piolet can see a command tab on their HUD.

Simon: Beta Squad 03 follow my lead!

Dexter: roger.

Simon: this is soo cool!

*A few seconds later, all of Leo's options a re displayed on screen.*

Leo: Hmm... charge the cannons, pick a 'roid, and blow it.

*Leo's Apollyon Gear activates the beam cannons. In a few seconds, the cannons blast away an asteroid.*

Simon aims his grenade launcher at an asteroid and blows a hole right through it.

Simon: YEEEAAAA!!! *fires his pepper box at an asteroid and whoops with glee*

*Leo just gives orders to his AI to rapidly do actions.*

Kate: Not good physical practice, though, eh, Leo?

*Leo nods on the onscreen, but says nothing. Inside his Gear he activates manual control and begins piloting his Gear on his own.*
