Theres a lot of hate for bush and several other world leaders right now. But, when it all comes down to it, would you defend your country for someone elses war? what would you do?*lets say your hypothetically not married*

i think i would. even if i hated the guys guts and would love to piss on his parents graves, i would go and fight for the country.

hmmm i dunno, fighting another persons war? i didnt see iraq as a direct threat to us so no. but if the US was in direct danger from 1 counrty, i would defend it in a heartbeat, but as i stated b4 i saw no threat from iraq.

I'd defend the USA, but not in the ways of killing. Maybe something in computers. I have pride, but I don't exactly redeem to care about it all that much. I want to move out of California, that would greatly help me.



But this also epends on the President. In Bush's case, he will not get me to carry a gun, unless I get to shake hands with him and shot him in the head.

I would never carry a gun for George Bush. America always gets involved into wars where everyone has already screwed themselves over and they go in and look like a hero. Iraq wasn't a threat, I would only defend my nation if it were attacked, not to invade another nation for no good reason.

Has American ever been attacked by like an invasion or anything? The mexicans don't count, so let's be truthful here. I mean, no foreign army has never stepped on US soil in the 1900's or so. WWI? Serbia started that by killing Archduke Francis Ferdinand. WWII? Hitler invaded poland, and France and Britain had a protective policy (I forgot what you call it) with Poland, so yea. Korea? A Civil War. Yet the policy of Containment forced Truman to go there and fight. He fires Mcarthur, blah blah. Vietnam? Same thing, only we los that time. >.<

I really...do disagree...You'd be holding the gun for your country..not for who leads it.

Ever notice how most species of the same type work together? The human race, only because they feel one view is dominant to another, are willing to kill off there kind. It's sickening.

I wouldn't die for a country. I hold human life above geopolitical boundries, but that's just me. Asking whether I'd die for the so-called ideals of the United States is different though. I would probably fight and even die for justice and liberty.

Uh what I meant was the war on Iraq or any other future countries George Bush might invade. Fighting in Iraq is like fighting for George W. Bush if you ask me, not fighting for the ideals of America.

If you have love for your country it should be because of the countries policies, values, rules, system of government, and ways of life. To truly love your country you need to know enough about other countries to see why yours is the one you love so much. Unfortunately a lot of these things have to do with who the current leader/party is. If you love your country it shouldn't be because you were raised to, but because you have learned of the alternatives, and come to a decision. People who blindly assume their country is the greatest, or destined to be the greatest, country are sickening.

All George Bush did was Declare war, If it was is "that" out of league, the U.N would have denied them the right to invade, but they saw it was fairly needed.

I would fight for my country but it all depends on the situation, if I found it to be morally unjust and for the sake of some few idiots doing it for some political and stupid reason and I saw that no good would come from it I wouldn't.

I knew someone who has said that before, because they can get anime easier and shit like that.......... I would seriously advise against it, there are very few places for higher education(that's why so many teenagers commit suicide from the stress in Japan), the country is the most expensive to live in so the funds you bring with you aren't likely to go far. I wouldn't go for some stupid ass reason like you wanna go for more convienient entertainment purposes, you need to go somewhere that you can get a job easier and start a live no go Japan so you can get anime easier.
