[glow=red]Lets think about it after we have their heads on our pikes, shall we. Tyravael, tell your angels to be ready, once our enemies are in the range of our arrows, i will tell my archers to fire.

Weather was getting worse, rain was not ending. I looekd at the glowing, it was close enough, i made a spell so everyone would hear me.

"FIRE!!'

Archers realised their arrows, most of them hit the target, but nothing was heard, not a scream of pain, not that one of death. Arrows just disappeared. Then i gave the signal to the mages to realise their spells. Hundreds of fireballs, lightnings and ice pikes flew in the direction of the aproaching army, and they disappeared just like the arrows

I contacted FW again
Damn this, this enemy can't be defeated by normal weapons, nothing physical or elemental seems to cause any harm. I am gonna try to set up a barrier. Tyravael, i want you to assume command on the wall while i help our mages prepare the spell.

I went down and found the mages, and we grouped together, their job was to make sure nothing goes wrong, mine was to stop the enemy.
I raised both my hands towards the sky and realised my energy, a white pillar of light pierced the sky, it was coming from my hands. There were almost invisible waves coming out of it in every direction. Once the waves hit the enemy, they were supposed to stop yet they kept moving, but now slower then before, much slower, now it would take them several hours to reach the wall while without my spell it would take several minutes. Holding the spell active was painful, my lungs, my head, my every bone were hurting, after half an hour blood started coming out of my nose. I ignored it. I had to hold the barrier.[/glow]

((I must say, you pretty much accurately portrayed what would have happened, with one exception.))

*As the army becomes slowed the glow is extinguished in it's entirety as the Voidlings prepare for the attack. The barrier begins weakening at an alarming rate, something seemed to be interfering with the spell itself. It was almost as if Igor's attempts were falling into nothingness, being drained faster than the spell would consume energy. Far outside Evers`iliance the light returned with a bright flash as all the darkness seemed to concentrate around the capital, making the darkness so thick that one wouldn't be able to see their own nose if the sun were two inches beyond it. Elsewhere people find shells of men, empty and oozing with a purple residue, sacrifices for the army. There is an eerie calm as sounds seem to be growing softer, the very nature of sound falling to The Void. It was worse than fighting an invisible foe, for those that are invisible can still be sensed in other ways. Not these foes, no light to detect their surrounding and little sound to hear their already soft footsteps.*

[glow=red]I had to realise the spell, i fell to my knees. I didn't see my soldiers but i knew they were there. I yelled so everyone would hear me.

"This is the end my brothers, this is the end. But llets die as brave men, as men of courage. Our age is ending, lets make it so that our end will mean the end of our enemy. EVERYONE GO OUTSIDE THE WALLS, LETS MEET THE DARKNESS, LETS SHOW THAT WE HAVE NO FEAR!!!"

I ran outside the city walls, i heard many battle cries, many ran behind me, all we had to do now was to stare into the darkness waiting for the end to come. I had no fear i had no regret. I raised my weapon and ran ahead, with only two words on my lips, said in my countrie's congue.
"ZA RODINU!!!"(for motherland)

I will meet the darkness before it comes to me.[/glow]

Vox wakes up with a sharp poke of the Agiel to his back.

Vox: AAAAAAHRRRRRR!!!

Akara: time to get up my pet. i have something for you.

Akara holds out Vox's lute

Vox: my lute, how did you-?

Akara: i killed king raphael

Vox: no, i would have sensed it.

Akara: well, these halls are dampening your abilities my red haired pet. even your sword is useless here the power belongs to me

Vox looked at Devil's Pleasure and instantly knew she was right, the smokey gray glow is slowly fading and the blade is returning back to being Wolfsbane.

Vox: so that is why you gave my sword back to me?

Akara: yes my pet. i know that you are useless here.

Vox: she says your dead brother.

Raphael: just play along im almost there just another day

Vox: understood. may the spirits of light protect me

Akara: now, on to your training. i will break you today and you will be mine forever.

Akara ties Vox's arms again and removes the collar then hoists him up with the rop on his wrists. the shackles cut his wrists.

Vox: soon it will be over @#$%& and no one can save you from what is to come.

Akara: ...twelve hours. and no food. i hope you learned your lesson.

Akara sharply prods Vox with the Agiel but soon stops and her expression changes.

Akara: i cannot hide it anylonger. i want you as my mate red head.

Vox: why is that?

Akara: because you've suffered almost as much as i. i've heard the tales of how you stopped the meteor from hitting the lands and you died in the process. i want you as my mate.

Vox: ...Ris forgive me...

Akara put her Agiel in between her teeth, her pupils shrinking indicating that she was in pain. she walked up to Vox and kissed him feircely, drawing blood from the poking of the Agiel.

after a time Akara then went back to torturing him. when his hours were up she cut him loose and smiled

Akara: there, you are a broken man. and worst of all, you are MINE!

Vox kneels on the ground panting, keeping the tears at bay, his lower lip gushing blood. he looked up and howled and grabbed Wolfsbane and swung at Akara.

Akara blocked the attack sending the force from her Agiel into the sword and thus into Vox, amplifying the pain. Vox ignored it and kept striking soon he lost balance and fell on the floor, droping his blade.

Vox: you win, im yours. damnit hurry up!

*Torque sits in his throne, bored as usual, flipping his sword around. their are several knocks on the door, "Who is it..." Torque says, "Its me my lord, Reign.." he replies, " Come in..." Reign suns in, gasping for air and holding his chest " Sir, i come bearing urgent news, Lord Eladrin has been captured!" Torque about falls off his chair "What?! Where is he!?" Reign " Lord we do not know.....Im sorry..", "Hhhhhmmmm.....Send in Khal Dragonis at once....", "Right my lord"...Reign walks out. Torque says to himself, "Vox? Captured?" Torque shrugs as Reign comes in moments later with Khal by his side. "Khal, we have much work to do.." Khal says " Right...

Khal goes to his chambers and packs his sword Deathscream II and puts on his Red Jacket. he combs his fingers through his spikey black hair and smiles.

Khal: my first mission in a long time. thisll be fun.

Khal returns to Torque who has also geared up and is set to go

Khal: well lets do this

a voice is heard in their heads

Vox: [glow=red]Good to see someone else trying to help me. thanks Torque[/glow]

*Koren unsheaths his sword, and bends down into a fighting stance as he watches the platoons of the enemy approach. Koren closes his eyes and begins to chant a soft incantation.*

"emery, kurnas, gorblin, shuna.*

*Koren repeats his incantation three times and a soft red glow surrounds him, and slowly creeps outward, with a red tint around everything up till it reaches Tyravael, and Igor. The land returns to its normal hue, and Tyravael and Igor both begin to emit a soft red aura. Koren takes off his cloak and throws it onto the ground. Looking at Koren you can see his biceps tensing up and relaxing, repeatedly. Koren takes many steps back, till he is about fifteen feet behind Raphael and Igor.*

"Fear nothing warriors. I will keep you protected, for as long as I can allow. Your defense is raised, at great cost of strength to me. Please, do what you can, and pay attention to yourself, for when the red aura omits itself, I have depleted my magical prowess, and my strength slowly returns. So when I need my strength back, I will release the spell. Good Luck, I will slowly advance behind you."

*Koren concentrates, and watches both Tyravael and Igor, advancing as they do.*

*The auras are much dimmer than they should be, and can only be seen by those no more than a foot away. The darkness that had once covered an entire nation is now concentrated over one city after all. The army has stopped moving by land, nothing can be heard, seen, or even felt of them except that they are watching, always watching. With a sudden burst of activity screams rip through the city as women and children that were supposed to be within the deep inner city, and thus well protected, are slain. The last thing they hear is a swish of claws as their bodies are consumed by the darkness and another Voidling rises from their corpse.*

Vox senses this as he's being tortured by his mate Akara. she prods him more feircely, drawing blood from his torso and arms. Vox does not howl in pain this time for he has mastered not feeling hurt after all the time he spent being tortured. he still waits for Torque and Raphael to come to him.

Akara: you are doing well my pet. now think of something nice about me or you will get more hours.

Vox pictures her blonde hair waving in the wind and she seems to sense this

Akara: ahh good. now i shall take you to the mess hall its time you ate.

Akara fastened the collar around his neck and pulled him with a leesh. he was forced to eat off the floor.

Khal and Torque move off to Evers'ilance taking their airship the Shroud and they set off. they reach Evers'ilance within mere hours.

Khal walks up to Igor and bows

Khal: let me and King Torque help you in your battle

Igor: fine. FOR MOTHERLAND!

Khal draws Deathscream II

Khal: DEVAION!!!

Torque draws Raven's Talon

Torque: DEVAION!!!

Vox's voice: [glow=red]FOR KHALAMYA!!![/glow]

Igor:[glow=red]It's now or never Vox, get out while her guards down.[/glow]

Vox: [glow=red]I'll do my best[/glow]

OOC: Uh... torque? First things first. When you type, type like so:

Raphael: Sage you idiot, I thought Vox was being tortured?

Whenever you do an action, type it like so:

It's better to use quotation marks if you're going to use the first-person.

*Raphael continues on along with his friends, and they finally stumble upon Akara's hell-hole.*

Raphael: Mm... doesn't look good.

Ris: Well, it IS a Mord-Sith's pit...

Raphael: Not that... Akara wants Vox as her mate...

*Raphael descends just as Ris screams.*

Ris: WHAAAAAT?!?!?!

*Back in Evers'ilance...*

Tyravael: It's no use. We need to do something else, somehow, someway.

Igor: We can't! They destroy... no, they turn everything into nothingness! They make... fall out of existance or something!

Tyravael: ... Brothers, I- We need you.

Razael: If an Arch-Angel can do nothing against this foe, then what makes you think a Demon King can?

Raphael: I am but the Final Warrior... we would need a God's strength to defeat this foe. Or Ainar. And I still need to save Vox.

Tyravael: I understand. WE shall hold them at bay for as long as we can,

Igor: Which doesn' look like long.

 

[Tacitus]

*A powerful voice ponds in the heads of those that have been sending telepathic messages, but mostly Raphael's mind.*

Need Ainar do you? You want the fallen servant of the gods? You can have him.

*In eversiliance the light returns with a brilliant flash as a giant tornado of liquified metal and pure darkness seems to rip from the ground near the castle. The explosion of it ripping from the ground is enough to heavily damage all building in the area. There are no signs of any voidlings in the area, just the huge pillar of metal and darkness. As it spins the sky seems to rain without clouds, though the rain is more than simple water, in fact it isn't water at all, but pure nothingness in it's purest form. Upon contact it will eat away at anything it touches, not stopping until it bores through at least 20 feet of material, creating wormlike passageways everywhere.*

Khal and Torque hide under an awning knowing that it has small protection from the matter

Back at Akara's lair

Vox is being tortured again but he does not flinch.

Vox: theyre here...

Raphael, Rhianna and Ris walk through the corridors always aware that there could be soldiers patroling

Vox: please dont kill me mistress...

Akara: sorry my pet but the Dark One wants you dead for what you did to him.

Akara jabs the Agiel into Vox's stomach but she didnt have enough time to twist it which would kill him she wheeled around and saw Raphael and Ris drawing their swords and her eyes went wide. Rhianna transformed into Rose Warrior and unfurled a Rosewhip

Raphael: your time has come Akara.

Akara: !! no it has not

Ris: let him go! NOW!

Akara: you hear that my pet? they want you back

Vox spits on Akara's face

Akara: Disrespectful all of a sudden? ha! youll all die soon! the Dark One will see to it that your souls are devoured.

Raphael puts away God's Fury and draws Deathscream.

Raphael: enough talk.

 

[Final Warrior]

OOC: ... Deathscream was destroyed, wasn't it?

BoT:

*Raphael rushes at AKara, who dodges and jabs the Agiel into Raphael's belly.*

Raphael: Hunh!

*He swings the blade at her head, but she ducks and comes up. She grabs his sword arm and stays it, and then sticks the Agiel into Raphael's face.*

Raphael: Grr...!

*Raphael flicks his wrist, tossing the blade to his left hand. Because he has been dual-wielding for so long, his left hand is as deadly as his right. The blade comes under, over, and up, knocking the Agiel away. Rhianna makes a move to grab it and keep it away from Akara, but as she does, the rod burns her hands, and she drops it, screaming quietly. Raphael spins off of Akara's back, reversing their postions. Now Raphael is behind Akara, facing her back. He moves his blade up, and keeps it held at her throat.*

Raphael: Well, Vox? She is the criminal, you are the victim, I am judge and undertaker. Ris, Rhianna, you two may be the jury. What sentence do you want me to pass?
