I hate phone calls

I can't do them. If someone wants to ring me up just to chat, i find the quickest way out of the conversation and hang up. I only want to talk about business, if you/i need something or anything equally important. But i wont sit around with a piece of plastic stuck to my ear talking to someone about how their day was. If you want to talk about that, then speak to me face to face.

As far as I know, of the 20 or so guys I hang out with, only 3 of them actually enjoy being on the phone. Of those 3, 2 are homos. Like, actually gay, not just retarded/stupid/annoying. Take it in the ass suck a dick gay.

i talk to some of my friends for conversation, but i dont live anywhere near them so its more of a catching up thing.

I don't really like phone calls. I prefer face-to-face interaction. I know when I'm on the phone I only pay attention about 20% of the time. If somebody calls me that wants to talk and they're nearby I just go to them. It's not really very comfortable talking to somebody you can't see, even if you know what they look like.

It drives me crazy when people just want to talk. I'm very visually-oriented, so a lot of my communication is done with body language and facial expressions. I hate not being able to see someone's face or read words on page. My hearing is also pretty ****ty after so long of blasting music far louder than it should be, so I miss a lot of what I hear.

Not to mention, there is nobody in my life with the common courtesy to SHUT THE **** UP when I'm on the phone. I am neither interested in nor capable of holding two separate conversations at once, and when two people talk to me at the same time I don't understand either one.

Raaaaaaage. I hate phones. Up until college, I didn't even own a cell phone...and as is, it's for necessary communication only. Call me without something specific you want, and it'll be a very short talk indeed.

Quoted for truth lol. Kayle's about the only person who doesn't piss me off if I talk to her for more than 10 minutes at a time, and even then i'm ****ty at phone conversations. She knows it though, which is why we mostly talk via MSN.

That's not really weird. I won't answer my phone 50% of the time. I'll just let it ring to listen to me ringtone and then text them. I like texting a whooole lot more. It's quicker it's just the same as arranging a meeting or telling something one thing. 'Course there are a few people I always answer for.

I don't even particularly like long conversations over MSN, or emails (Except if you have a long-distance friend and barely talk). If someone lives within say 100km's (60 miles for you yankees) then i wont bother emailing them.
