I ´ve got this from an other forum so dont spam i saw it there and u have stolen it .....

~~~~~ PLZ Sticky ~~~~~
This is the single instalation method, I.E. you only need to install Diablo once. You will need TWO (2) (or more) sets of CD keys, Classic and LOD. If your computer can handle it and you have more the two sets of keys, you can start up even more Diablo's:
1. Download "Diablo2 Cdkey Refiller" at http://blake.prohosting.com/~onlyer
(Makes an .mpq file with the 2nd CD key)
2. Unzip the files somewhere (Diablo2 folder).
3. Edit auto-cdkey.reg file with Notepad.
===========================================
owner=The name that will show up if someone try to use ur key
d2cdkeympq=The filename the Diablo classic cd keys will store in. (cdkey.mpq)
d2xcdkeympq=The filename the Diablo Lod cd keys will store in (cdkey.mpq)
d2cdkey= EnterYourDiabloClassicKey
d2xcdkey=EnterYourDiabloLodKey
===========================================
4. Copy the cdkey.mpq file to your Diablo2 folder.
5. Open d2-cdkey.exe file and refill both keys.
6. Download "D2Loader" at http://blake.prohosting.com/~onlyer/
(Makes it possible to load more then one Diablo2 game)
7. Extract the files (Diablo2 Folder).
8. Make a backup of your Diablo2.exe file.
9. Move the Diablo2.exe file from D2loader folder to your Diablo2 folder.
This is how I did it and it´s works fine for me.
If you wanto run two Diablo 2 games create 2 shortcut´s to the diablo2.exe and in the first write -w in the command line and write -w -mpq cdkey.mpq in the other shortcut command line.
If you want to run more then two Diablo's, rename the cdkey.mpq file you created to something like '1cdkey.mpq'. Follow the steps above to make another cdkey.mpq file. Have your first shortcut point to the Diablo2.exe file with the -w command line arguments. Have the second shortcut point to the Diablo2.exe file with the arguments -w -mpq cdkey.mpq and have the third shortcut point to the Diablo2.exe file with the command line argument -w -mpq 1cdkey.mpq. You can do this for as many CD keys you have. You will have to have a damn good computer to run more the two Diablo's though. If you don't know how to add command line arguments to a shortcut, then this is not for you. Play one Diablo and enjoy being the suck.
It was copied from the loader help file. This is why people need to read instructions.
I have followed the directions like you explained (btw thanks). However, when i run my d2loader (2nd diablo) it says that my cd is meant for another game etc. I have made sure that the cdkey is correct. I have the shortcuts set with one having -w and the other having -w -mpq cdkey.mpq. When i enter the cdkey in cdkey.mpq, should i use the dashes "-" between the numbers? Also, I had to rename one copy of diablo.exe (original) to Diablob.exe, otherwise it would not let me have 2 exe with the sdame name. Any help is appreciated.
no "-" between numbers. cut the original d2 exe and paste it in another folder (like /save) then put the exec from d2loader in main d2 folder.
ok, i did that. Now when i try to run the original (that is in another folder), it thinks there is no cd and storm.dll etc is "missing." These files, of course, are in the folder where diabloii.exe was originally from. Also, i still cant make shortcuts to both since they both have the same name. I assume that i must rename one. When i run the shortcut to the d2loader version, i get a message saying that the cdkey was intended for another game. I have checked the cdkey like 20 times...it is correct. Anyone else have this problem? Any help is appreciated, and ty for the help so far sin.
Hrmmm... I´m not sure if I completely understand this, you can run diablo 2 more than once on one computer? Pardon me for being noobish, :p, but what´s the point of that?
this is about how to run several diablos with a single installation, no other way possible
(with this u can play 2- whatever # of simultan d2's ur pc can handle a same time)
e.g. u can run 3 bots sync. with 1 diablo2 installation.
