Who knows, no one on this earth is perfect at either.

I'm guessing you are talking about a drum set...if you are, than guitar. If you are talking about percussion in general, than percussion just because there are so many more instruments to perfect.

Guitar definately...drum set is easy to learn I have learned it. Half the time, if in a band, you can just beat to how the guitar part goes. Where as guitar, you have so many chords to learn etc...

I dunno, ive done some of both (drums more then gutiar). I think it depends on natural talent because they are both completely diffrent kinds of insturments.

It depends. Drumset can get some pretty weird stuff, trust me, I've played all kinds of stuff. However, Guitar is harder than drumset, based off all the riffs and such you can do. Now, is Guitar harder than Tenors/Quints/6's? No. Tenors are much harder than guitar will ever be.

Guitar and drums are completely different instruments and require completely different skills, so I really can't say which one is harder. I think it depends on the person.

Drums takes a way longer time then guitar, as you need to know how to lay down beats and at a certain speed and so on... Guitar there are basically letters to do it for you, just like a piano...

I thought the 4 peice drum was called a quad and the 5 peice was a tenor...bah...I hate percussion :( Worst year of my life.

Technically, 3 is "trips" 4 is "tenor/quad" 5 is "quints" 6 is "sixes/tenor"

Drums and percussion in general take a lot longer to get decent at because it takes a lot more coordination. With guitar (yes i play both) you can sound decent without a lot of work.

it really all depends on ur talent,b ut in my oppinion for most it would be guitar, then again, the mastering drums (mainly usin hands and feet if u use a footpedle, which you should be) could be real hard too, especially for me.

Haha, you are ignorant :D Care to clarify on that one SouLeSS? I was considered a real drummer just by playing concert snare and Timpani :D
