Another thing that annoys me about it, is that Windows Live Hotmail (yeah i still use it) doesn't think Chrome is a proper browser, and it asks me if i want to upgrade to FF, IE or Opera. Lol.

Usually Windows Live Hotmail opens IE by default...

You can always type hotmail.com in the adress bar.

Also, it seems to bug with some sites, like WoW Armory.

True, but some browsers handle things like CSS, HTML, Javascript, downloads/popups and certian CGI (basically an HTML page with code behind it) differently than others.

But doesn't that cost you excess memory?
Yes, it does. However, it's not like today's systems are going to suffer massive slowdowns due to Firefox. It's more of an I/O issue with Sandboxie rather than memory as it captures all system file reads and writes.

However, the good news about Sandboxie is that it's "recursive": Run a program and any other process that program runs is also sandboxed. Download tons of test programs and they're all sandboxed - delete the sandbox and those test programs leave no[sup]#[/sup] traces on your system.

[sup]#[/sup]: Small programs, anyway.*

Plus, since you aren't using the same memory blocks over and over. There is less of chance you will run into a memory conflict and end crashing one of the programs.

But today, most people are using large scale programs. Plus on PCs ment for mass labs or something, those don't exactly have the up-to-date parts that most of us have at home.

The only program I have on Firefox 3.0 is Ubiquity. Basically a command-line program. Its good for the Javascript guys because the commands you can write for it are done in Javascript :). Plus its open-sourced.

So far I only wrote a program that uses a "Hashtable" (key/value pairs) to load up pages. Like I could say open bf - and if bf is in the list, it will open up the page in his value. I may do advanced things later.
