Is 100x better than all your browsers combined.

If you aren't using it yet, you're wrong.

What do you mean it's fast? I thought speed is solely depended on your connection. And i think i'll stick to Firefox 3 unless you give me more reasons to change.

It loads media content and other content a bout a billion times faster because it's directly linked into the Google Cache so it can pull up just about any website in a matter of seconds, regardless of your browsing speed.

You'll still have to wait to load videos/pictures and what not, but it's still leaps and bounds faster than others simply because it is in the Google cache so it doesn't have to really ever download it and send it.

If one tab crashes, the whole thing doesn't crash.

It's got an auto feature for just about everything you could think of.

The address bar will pop up with related websites you've previously visited when searching (for instance I type in "good" and it comes up with "A good WW render from MK vs DC" "Is Anti-venom a good or bad idea", so on and so forth)

That and it automatically imports your favorites from your other browsers, on top of a billion other little things. Shit's self aware, might as well call it Sky-Net. dun dun dun du dun

It still has to download to your PC so I don't see how this would make any difference, the only time I can see this making a difference is if a website uses slow servers. I'm using it right now and it doesn't seem any faster than FF3.

Launches a lot faster but that's really it. And it highlighting boxes your typing in is annoying. The only things I can really fault it on is the extreme lack of customizability and the spell checker sucks.

Now that I have torrents downloading I can notice a big difference in how fast it loads pages.

And you do? Get over yourself, it's really unbecoming of you, to use your word of the day.

You guys are aware that all it's basically saying is that by using Chrome you're giving Google the right to use it all for their services. IE: If you make a post on BF using Chrome, you automatically agree to allow it to be searched for via google.

Which, ya know, isn't exactly that much different than what the internet is like now. That, and it's a copy/paste error that wasn't supposed to be init, and google is in the process of removing it as I type this.

But hey, whatever. It's not even two days into it's beta and people are alreayd flippinga shit over how bad it is and what not. And besides, what do you guys post on the internet that isn't already able to be taken and what not as is? Oh, and for the record, Adobe has basically the same thing in their EULA whenit comes to pictures, so anything made in Photoshop is automatically 'property of Photoshop'. Same thing with Youtube, the minute you upload something there it becomes their property and no longer yours.

So...are you guys gonna blacklist Youtube, Adobe, as well as likely plenty of other programs/services you guys use? It's just getting all the flak because it's google, and they're taking over the interwebs.

edit; I think you haven't read the TOC carefully. In Section 9, it says that you own the rights to any content you submit through Google's services (which includes Google Docs, Picasa, Google Video, etc.).

But in Section 11, which you quote above, it gives Google a *limited* license to publish, display and promote the content you create and submit on their services ... for the *limited* purpose of displaying and promoting your content.

All that means is that if you submit a photo on Picasa, or a video on Google video, or whatever, that Google has the right to publish this on the web. Without this right, your photos or video would never be seen by anyone, even you, because Google would be running the risk of being sued by you, the content creator, for publishing your work.

This limited right to publish your work is in all of Google's TOC, afaik, for the different services in which they publish your content.
