Should clans act like this? come inside and vote.

Ah... my moment to shine and to basque in the glory of degrading this clan. I just have to take my time to bitch about the malarchy and stupidity that keeps going throughout AT LEAST the warcraft forums. I haven't been to the other forums, they may have advertisements in their for that friggin' clan.

I'm talking about the Portal of Darkness Clan, and here is what I've got to say:

Rant one --> go to the warcraft forums and search through for the moved threads and see how many you can find that are of advertising for this damn clan

Rant two --> Degrading players that supposedly aren't worthy of their godlike clan's stature because they are "newbies", when over half of the clan itself is full of "newbies" to begin with.

Rant three --> If you're not in their clan and you say anything about their clan, wether it be negative, or simply informative, you're automatically the enemy then they proceed to spam in your threads

Rant Four --> Claims that they've won several tournaments with their variety of players
Rant Four A --> go to their forum and see how fast the threads move in there... it proves how many members they have... or rather, how very few members they have. But for some odd reason they bitch about people to the point of annoyance and then turn around and say "So... who wants to be in our clan?"

The part that pisses me off is that the clan doesn't have try outs, it's not the fact that they don't have tryouts that pisses me off... it's that you're accepted the minute you want to join, (they don't have the luxery of sorting people out because not many people want to join) Anyhow, if you decide that you don't want to be in their clan, they say you're a crappy player and they wouldn't let you in their clan, and they continue to spread the rumor of their greatness throughout battleforums.com, common now... there is an advertising forum for that.

I'm putting up a poll to disband this asshole clan from the wciii.com forums. I'm all for clans, if there is a group of people that you want to play with, that's fine. It's a productive means of playing, no matter what game it happens to be. You can call your clan great and all, that's fine, but these guys have no respect for people outside of their clan, and the people that they disrespect aren't even in a rival clan, they're just an everyday player... and to me that just crosses the line. They were given a forum so they could keep to themselves, and they haven't. Now I'm speaking up.

I totaly agree, THOSE ARE A WHOLE BUNCH OF IDIOTS. Explain to me, how in a thread intitled Tourney, i can't ask if one of those poor pathetic losers can play in a simple tournament of mine with a possible prize. now i get my posts deleted with out so much as a PM telling me why, and to top it off, there is still another non clan member that still has a post, and they arn't deleted!! THEYRE LOOKING FOR ME AND U Silynt and making sure we don't get to post, while someone else can!! I HATE ****NG CLANS LIKE THAT!! THATS WHY I AM SO PREDJUDECE AGAINST CLANS, PPL LIKE THEM. if you're against them in any shape or form, your posts are both barred from their forum and you have your post deleted without reasoning. But like I said, that's not my reason for hating them with a passion...

More than a half dozen times have I seen threads that say "Moved to:" or "quit spamming" and yet it continues to go on and on. If one of us did that, we'd be booted from the forums, but since they have every other member shuffling it around, that makes it "more okay"?

and still, that's not even why I don't like them, I can advertising, it's the disrespect for the players that aren't involved with them. Wether it be a rival clan, or a non-clan member, just the everyday user. Claiming we're crappy players or newbs because we don't join their clan.


By all means, anyone who sees this... vote appropriately.

I tottal agree with you guys. I even tried to do a battle with one of them because they said I would get a soj and be able to join them. But of course when it came time to battle he said he couldn't because he needed levs to use his godly sword or whatever!!

Something off the topic i'm a newbie to the this "battleforums" chat and I was woundering how do u add pics, or animations to your post! Thank u whoever can tell me a head of time...

The pic under your name is your avitar. You can change that in your profile. To have pics elseware, they have to be already on the web, and you just click on the IMG tag and follow the instructions to put it in. Hope that helps.

About the whole PD thing, as I'm a MOD, I guess I should stay neutral... But if you want to flame them, do it here. The flaming belongs in this forum (along with all of their flaming and spam...). Lets see what we can do about keeping BOTH out of the other forums. If you have a problem with it, or someones again, IM or PM me.

I haven not seen significant defense to keep this clan around. I feel that I share the burden that I'm associated with these idiots when I'm in this forum. Boot them out.

Clans are cool, but you shouldn't have to meet an asshole requirement to get within one.

If you have a problem with one of their posts or any other post in a public forum, use the Report Post function. Lately i've just been letting posts ride around the forums. If no one reports it, then I assume it offends no one and I leave it up. As far as their forum being deleted, it will not be, unless there is a reason for it be deleted besides some witchhunt, fueled by your own hatred for them. As far as all the arguing goes between you guys and their clan, keep it in the asylum. If I see anymore posts outside of the asylum where one of you is bashing the other one (it's against the rules) then bans will be dealt out.
