For or against gay marriage.

I'm for gay marriage but against them adopting children.
If they are to adopt children I say they should first acquire the consent of the child who should be at least a teen.

I mean, if I were to have gay/lez parents, I think I'd really miss a mother or maybe a father. The public opinion towards homosexuals also isn't always tolerant. The poor kid could be subjected to a lot of bullieing. not good

Christians, and other people that have problems with homosexuality need to face reality. Being gay IS overall accepted in todays society. Gay's are everywhere...and they are going to want to get married. What's so wrong with that? All it is, is a simple commitment to stay together. Honestly, say what you want, it still doesn't affect you. Being gay is accepted in todays society as I said, so a small contract changes nothing in your life.

People that disagree in gay marriage in my eyes are ignorant. I think it's none of their business whatsoever. This bullshit about god not approving is also crap, because not everyone worships the same god. Your (people who are using god as a defence) opinion on god is irrelevant in such an issue.

i dont see why not. its better than an oprhanage, and its better than single parent homes in my opinion.


i DO think the ideal parenting situation is a mother and a father, it just seems like the BEST way to raise kids normally, but with good parenting homosexual couples can do a hell of a lot better than single parents.

A mom and a dad is the ideal parental structure for kids, true.

But a same sex structure is better than being raised in a loveless enviroment by the government. I mean really, would you rust the government to raise a single kid, much less thousands of them?

Ok I'm sorry for post-bumping but I really had to.So you can bitc* at me all you want for that and than stfu and read my post.First of all I'm all for gay marriage.I'm all for gay adoption too except the whole bullying thing.Alot of 'strait-as-a-ruler-' couples do a horrible horrible job at parenting.Neglegence,abuse all that stuff.Concerning llama-mix's post:Why are you against gays, the bible is more of a guildline to life NOT rules.And God proboally wouldnt think to highly of you for burning hanging and killing people.Statistics say that 1 in every 10 people is homosexual.I just think gays should be treated with everyone else.I mean if you don't like it than don't talk to them thats your choice, you don't have to be negative about it.Those are just my thoughts, and sorry one again for post bumping.

Also, i dun think gay parents SHOULD adopt children... jus for those children's sake, those children will prob commit suicide or try to find real parents when they get to teenager (peer pressures about gays, stress about gays.)
it's not like im abusing gay parents' free will, but they should re-consider b4 adopting, jus for kids' sakes.

Thats what I meant in short.I think gay couples should be given a chance to do their best at raising a child.It's just the child that would get the shi* bullied out of him/her for having gay parents.

our acceptance of homosexual people has greatly risen in the passed few years, if our acceptance keeps rising we wont have to worry about that. teenagers are very ignorant and can be harsh and cruel because of peer pressure... hopefully we'll straighten out and learn to think for ourselves then gays can adopt without worry.

Homosexuality is immoral, In the Bible it strictly forbids it, humans also dont have a gene that makes them gay, why like your own gender in that way? it means no life for you and your wife to love and teach, likely two gays and an adopted child will make the child want ot be gay too
