Of course, the obvious remark to this is, "Well, then who created God?" To that, all I can say is... No one did, he is the end of the line (or maybe the beginning Oo). Of course, this sounds terribly childish, but it is the only acceptable explanation I can think of. >:O
Why can't the spawning of the universe be the "end of the line" ?

I do not believe God exists. While there is no way to know with 100% certainty, I will not put my faith blindly into something which has no proof to back it.

Meh.. maybo so. My only question is where did the substances required for this universe to be created come from? Have they always, for eternity, been floating around in space?

I beleive in God because plenty of situations in my life have proved that he exists. I don't want to mention them here, but I have my own proof, and THAT is good enough for me. The rest of you can beleive what you like, but I personally "know" he exists.

I believe in God.

I am a Catholic (Not by choice) and for about 15 years, i just took the whole religion thing for granted and didn't think about it at all. I knew of a few Bible stories but didn't know any verses off by heart or anything like that.

But one day, i met a girl, a girl who never took the world for granted, a girl who's values of God rubbed off on me, a girl who showed me God again, a girl who saved my life.

Ever since the day i decided to believe in God once again and learn more about him and worship him, my life has become infinitely better. I have met the most awesome bunch of people who are always themselves, who never belittle (Insult) anyone, people that allow you to be yourself, people that allow you to love God without being persecuted. These bunch of people are my friends (Not from school i might add), and from observing them and learning from them, i have learnt to appreciate the little and large things, i have learnt to not take things for granted, i have learnt that each day is a gift, and i have learnt that God is the way.

God is great. Just get to know him.

Proof? Hardly. Merely interpretations (poor ones) of events that have happened in your life which you percieve to be proof.

I most definitely believe in God. My god has been known as many things throughout His existance, however, many are realizing that all his different forms are truely just different ways of looking at the same God. Some may know him (or his aspects) as The Strong Nuclear Force, The Weak Nuclear Force, Electromagnetism, and Gravity.

The most advanced beliefs are looking at him as one being, but those beliefs are not entirely accepted.

Right now, most who believe the same doctrine know his three aspects, Electroweak, Strong, and Gravity.

In prevrious ages, he was looked at as even more divided. Such as Magnatism and Electricity. Now he is manifest as electroweak, formerly electromagnatism and Weak Nuclear.

(yes, that is a joke. I voted No.)

No. I do not believe in god. Not to offend anyone, but I believe that god is an easy answer to a question we can't find the answer to.

Used to. Not anymore.

I'd like to think that there's something, but I don't really care at the moment. Maybe a Fate-ish type thing....

Just along for the ride. ^_^;;

[glow=red]Do you have a freind who your other freinds call "the leader" and do your freinds give you brainwashing drugs? Faith is only for the weak, for those who can't find it in themselves to believe in reality.[/glow]

no offence to anyone but some of those reasons is why i like being a buddhist. see some people talk about how god is so cruel to you, well we dont really treat them as the almighty power. we learned that buddha and his lower ranking gods, are there to ask you to go on the right path. whether we do as they say or not... is not up to them. but also bad karma. rencarnation is a srong belief here in our religion therefore if you did something bad in your last life, it will come back and bite you in the ass in the next life.

Ignorant statement.

William Wallace had faith, the US Army has faith. Everyone has faith in something. For example, God, or humanity.
