Eh, I have mixed feelings. I believe in him, I just think he's a selfrightous cruel bastard. I don't believe in him, because the thought of some being overruling all is just, well, retarded

Do I believe there is some form of higher power that created this earth? Yes.

Do I believe this Being should be worshipped and praised? No.

I choose not to care really. I guess like Korritke, I haven't thought about it too much, and it doesn't seem like a matter of grave importance to me. I usually come off as an atheist because I think that most Christians are hypocrites, but I'm not.

I do believe in God and I do worship him, but if one day someone disproved his existance I doubt it would drastically change the way I live or look at the world.

I think believing in God is for the weaker of the speices. I do not believe in a god.

I do not need the feeling that there is someone who will always watch over me and protect me and whenever I talk he will listen.

It is people who are weak minded and who Need the feeling of someone will help them through the day to actually make it through the day. without god they would be lost.

That's one strong fate tbh. And you can't disprove or prove the existance of God. That's not the point of philosophy.

You look at only one side of belief.

I choose to believe the god is within, rather than some fictional character that everyone tries "to live up to", or to live like. I say screw that and live your life the way you want, without having to follow "guidelines" (religion) in order to be let into a "special place".

I do not need to feel that someone is watching over me, protecting me, listening to me, etc. None of those are the reasons I believe in God because all of those things it is easy enough to find in other people.

Without God, I would still live my life based on my own morals and ideas of right and wrong. No way would I be "lost."

I believe all things created must have a creator. Therefore, even the atomic particles that sparked the big bang had to have been created by something/someone. I do not believe they were just always there.

Of course, the obvious remark to this is, "Well, then who created God?" To that, all I can say is... No one did, he is the end of the line (or maybe the beginning Oo). Of course, this sounds terribly childish, but it is the only acceptable explanation I can think of. >:O

I'm agnostic for the most part, so I picked the middle one.

My reasoning: a higher power cannot be proven or disproven. Science, although more dependable, can only go so far. It offers an explination to how things happend, but not why. That is what religion offers, but I can't bring myself to blindly believe in something if there is no proof it exists.

People need a religion because people need to have a purpose in life. They need something they can hold onto and to live by. With religion people feel stability because they know there's something after life, it's resolved.

If there is a higher power, I don't think it's the god that the christian religion describes.
