Classic Rock pales in comparison to true classicism.

Heard any Richard Wagner? If so heard Elsa's procession? I have a copy of it somewhere. But I say this because I'm reconsidering relapcing Mars with Elsa's. Its a GREAT song. I Played a concert band version (My recording is also a concert band version) in band. Although Tenor saxophones dont have much of a place in music like that.

Honestly, my exposure to orchestral music has been laughable. I've only ever really heard the greats like Beethoven, Mozart, and a little Bach and Chopin. I'm also pretty well addicted to Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain." I grew up on Fantasia, and that was the coolest song/animation on that movie.

I'm pretty in love with almost any orchestral music I hear lately though. The God of War 2 soundtrack has some amazing orchestral/choiral pieces that just pump me up. I could hook you up if you wanted to hear them. =)
