The AMT was, is, and always will be an unfair bill that was passed to punish business owners for trying to make a living. It will dip into the middle-class -- which includes my family and myself -- unless some one finds a way to get rid of it. Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to abolish such a bill unless you are willing to spend a ton of money.

I see no real solution to it, and it would be next to futile. The only way to get rid of such a bill is to simply abolish our curret incremental tax into a flat tax. That would be a cheaper solution, and it would get rid of thousands upon thousands of loopholes in the tax laws as everyone, and I do mean everyone, making more than a certain amount (estimated at 30k per year) will pay 17% taxes. It's fair, it's impartial, and it will take care of a ton of problems.

That's all I have to say on AMT.

Now, i have a theory... We have already captured Osama Bin Laden, yet it is still under cover. Bush wants it under cover until during the elections and he will reveal to the nation that he has indeed captured Bin Laden. He will do this so the people will see that he is a ''GOOD'' president and has great accomplishments such as the capture of Sadam and Bin Laden. Therefore he will have more votes and stay in office...
I doubt that something as big as capture of Osama could be held from the view of the public, besides Bush doesnt need it, he got more money in his compain then anyone else, and he is a current president, he will get reelected, no question about it.
