I've got it! Ok, a bug was crawling on the lens of their satellite telescope, so it looks gigantic in the satellite images! A space bug. I'm right, aren't I?

Hrm, many of the pictures are taken from a plane aswell. Maybe the bug was on the plancam lens

people have figured this one out, congrats to you

the answer is this bug is VERY tiny, and it was on the lense of the camera when the photo was taken, making it appear to be nearly as tall as a cornfields height... at least thats the best theory i can come up with

Wasn't it obvious? I noticed that everything BUT the bug had a shadow. Duh...

One question.

If the bug was on the glass lens, how does it appear right side up? If it was crawling on the glass, we'd be seeing the underbelly of it. Unless there's some odd multilayered glass upon which he was on the inside of. Which would make sense if the satellite was in space to take the photograph, otherwise he'd be dead and floating.
