ok i get evrything exept how do you know the palett number, is it when you click once on it the number appears on the menu bar like 234-0 because if it is i guess i really suck at this (check out my pic attached)

Ah theres no pic n just look at my pic n try and find my thread about tile-bmpscm and whats gonna happen it will answer your question

u click once on the tile n up the top there will be a number eg 1 or 2-3 if its these tipe 2-4 you need to multiply the first number by 16 and then the 2nd number its complicated then to replace the number you copy it in n simply press enter and it will replace n then move on to check click on it agian and see it it still has the number you pasted in there : ) hope that helped.
