Funny, I was thinking the same thing about the whole forum.

I believe that God created the Big Bang. It is something we cannot fathom, as humans, because we live in such a restricted world. Yes, science is advancing, but not nearly enough. I also believe in evolution, free will, etc. I don't believe that the world was created in 6 days, and all that jazz. I'm a pretty "out-there" christian.

Darwin's theory of evolution. Do you have similar beliefs to him? He believed that God did create us but it took millions of years not 6 days. I may disagree with him because I am big bang all the way but at least he questioned religion and for the time he was very accurate.

Didn't it used to say "spam is bad" under your name?
What do you think Roswell was.
How the **** do you link that up with time travel; is it because of that "regenerating" metal?
Before we had any technolagy to fly, we belived GOD lived up in heaven, the sky. Now we can fly with planes. Is GOD there?
Nice take; just wondering, did they actually explain in the bible that the sky = heaven. Not that I doubt you.

The ultimate question will never be answered: If god exists, where did he come from?

This is why I kinda just stay away from heaven/hell, god existing/not, BB/God...but sometime's I cant help myself.

That's pretty much exactly what I believe...guess I'm "out-there," too. I think God created us using evolution. The Bible never says He created us in six human days, after all.

Can we believe both? If so, I believe God did both. Who knows why or how God was there all the time. I guess once we die we can find out. Maybe our puny minds just can't get the concept of how God was there forever. This is just my personaly opinion, though. I think God's IQ in our measures is infinite, while ours is 100-200, very very puny. We are nothing to him. I believe that he will tell us everything when we die (not depending where we "go")... But yeah, I can't ramble on, I'm not very good at it. ;)

But scientists believe that matter cannot be created nor destroyed but it's just there and they have reasonable reason to think this.
So I guess we can understand infinity, to a extent.

I don't know if we started out as apes, but I definitely think that Adam and Eve were not exactly the same as humans are today. We may once have been more primitive and more like apes then we are now, but I don't know if we were ever exactly the same thing. So if I go by that theory, it works out with the Bible's statement that God created animals separate from humans ^_^

I don't think it is possible the human race to be decendants of only 2 people. Remember no medicines so the life expectancy wasn't long and anything could of happened that would've stopped them reproduction or whatever. Think of the inbreeding, there's a reason that incest isn't accpeted, you know.

if the human race was created by two people wouldnt there be major birth defects today??

Maybe Adam and Eve were perfect in those aspects, and the imperfections we know today (such as ones caused by incest) didn't yet exist. I don't know. Some questions don't have answers....

You can't just claim that it was BB because superstition is flawed. BB is also superstition, BTW.

At this point, everything is a theory. We can't really "prove" any of them, seeing as we weren't there when the universe created. At any rate, you're free to believe what you want (seeing as you can't either prove or disprove any of these theories), just as long as you don't go around insisting it's the truth ^_^;;

We have actually witnessed big bangs.
We have proven the theory to be possible.
A theory is a tested hypothesis, so religion is a hypothesis.

It is very unlikely that there was Adam and Eve. They might've not reproduced. They might've not been able to. Life spans were very low back then. There were countless diseases they would've been subject to. Even if they reproduced the chances of survival of the human race would still be next to nothing. If they are only a couple of thousand of a certain animal then they would most likely die off without intervention.
