Another idea, RPG style, you start on two teams of 4 or less. You start out as a "pesant" (sp), not the one in the game, but like 1600's one. So you would have to hunt creeps, first small woodland animals/bugs, and when you hit level 1 you would do a darwin thing, where a menu would show up and give you the choices of:
1) Close
2) Range
If you chose close, your hero would change into a ax/club guy, range in to a light bow man. as you progress, and get enough money, you would be able to buy the deeds to land. On the land you recieve a small wooden castle. From there you could build other buildings, in which they would sell units or weapons. Only if you own land, can you build buildings, but team members can buy form you stores, not non-team members. They could build other buildings like towers, and the team would pay tribute to the person if they kill a unit in the persons land (10% or so), in turn the "king" can build better stuff.
there would be more units to upgrade to later on, as you progress at lv 2 it would give you 2 more choices, then lv 3, 2 more, and so on till lv 10, they there would be no limit to the level (well maybe 100 lvs or so)
I WANT TO MAKE THIS MAKE 56k friendly, so that means we should work on a budget (sp?) or memory. 200k should be where we would shoot to not pass, 250k limit
does this sound okay, we could go higher, but then no one would ever see all the work, i was thinking a medium sized map, which is very large, and would big enough to work for a RPG,
give me your thoughts
if it was a towers war, it will be 56k friendly
Ohh ya no massive unit create triggers, that laggs bad
