You noticed, he was making a program that automatically edited user info in php. Well Sir, I wonder what that was all about.

Sakuhta never said that he did more than TheSummit.. also, TheSummit did choose to become an administrator, so he willingly decided to take on the responsibilities that accompany his position. And of course TheSummit has done more than Sakuhta, Sakuhta is only a member.

1) Intellect shouldn't be defined based on events that occur in an online forum about addictive video games.

2) -_-;

3) Irrelevant to the fact that he still pulled a Placebo (Somewhat..)

I never once said that Sakhuta was under the impression he was a better user. I was clearly stating that Summit was infact a better user. Also, keep in mind the most active forums aren't the ones about video games by blizzard, they are the Chit Chat and such.

Point taken. I was just saying that it should be expected that an administrator should do more for the forums than a normal member, so it's sort of stating the obvious.

You choose to make the mistake, its not really a mistake.

"In example, what if there's this one guy...who helps tons of needy children...donates to charity...helps the poor, and is basically an all around good guy, but one day decides to go on a murderous rampage and kill everyone in his neighborhood. Should we all just let him off the hook and not care? He's done good things in the past...so we might as well just excuse the present and love him for what he's done before. right?!? "

Its a internet forum for ****s sake.......
People were flipping out like it was the end of the world.

i love how rygons goin around attetnion whoring posting his thoughts on this in every other thread "oh my i wonder if i caused this" "he wronged me i have reaosn to be mad!"

Ugh...this is the internet? NO WAY DEWD!!

Thanks for the response captain obivous, but if you look at both situations, they can easily be compared.

Let's not take everything so literal, eh?

I don't believe I was speaking about the people "flipping out" (yet I'm not sure what flipping out would be, afterall, this is the internet)...I was mainly refering to miss, who is basically saying "Don't get angry over him ****ing over the forums, he did good things in the past!1".

You People Can Be Soo Up Tight Over A Small And Medium Sized Scandle Over How Our Summit Had Attacked Everyone, Well I Myself Dont Mind; Heck Iam Glad Cause It Could Have Been Alot Worse If He Was To Actually Flip Out And Go On A Rampage.

Basically what he did just screwed his whole foundation of what he did. His levels of doing amazing things for the forums all built up, and this just was like a bomb and blew them all to kingdom come.

I.E. - What he did this morning just discredited everything he did in the past.

And crotch, could't have made a better analogy.

It isn't that what he did is bad, everyone can change their info back to how it was, it was the intent he had. If he gets fed up then he is free to leave, but he had to try and make it hard on everyone and create more work for the admins.

The only thing he did that was even remotely bitchable was deleting Rygon and Renzokuken's account.

Other than that, big deal. :rolleyes

Dont worry, i experience it alot during school. Its just like with your report card...you could have 95% A's, and 1 F, and your parents would flip out, saying why did this happen, etc. I know this for a fact cuase my grades werent to good, but then i brang them up ALOT, and still they flip out, totally ignoring the fact that i brang them up, just look for the mistakes.

I couldnt imagine whats so hard about that, to edit user info in php is what this forum does already. And to do it remotely, id just include/global.php, and then find the coding for were the user editing is, and copy and paste.

This is my take on it, though thesummit is super smart with php, so was probably doing something much different.

I regarded thesummit with the utmost respect because of all the good he has done for these forums, and has shown his resilience during the time with the server horror that bf has been going through a while back. Though many have left, i myself temporarily, thesummit has stayed and tried to make the best of that, and for that i respect him. This recent masacre hasnt angered me, nor made me happy. It has made me disapointed, becuase ive expected better from thesummit.

Ive said this about 5 times, but threads like these have been made more than 5 times.

Then oh, wow, he set up the forum portal. It's not that great of an improvement, and pretty much useless. You're saying 'don't let this one bad thing cover up all the good.' Well there hardly is any good. Besides, if there was, what he did was still a lot of crap.
And I still stick with it.
