XP Drain

i once made a hammerdin and when i went into hell baal runs and then everytime i someone else did meteor or something it would lag game pretty much not drain xp ok i would say do blizzard if ur ice sorc so that u can slow them down for me they did it and we would all gain at least 1 lvl if u were lvl 80 - 90 for lvls 70 - 80 u gained like 3-5 lvls sometimes

edit: i quit like 1 year ago or 2 dont remember so it might have changed a lot since than maybe new patches came out or something ladder reset lol everything changeson that came and the lag kills u when u get addicted to it (happened to me)

edit: a good frenzy or ww barb built right can own a hammerdin any day anytime or a good sorc (trust me it happened to my lvl 99 hammerdin, beat by a lvl 89 ww barb and lvl 90 frenzy barb and lvl 91 sorc) dont think a hammerdin is basicly the best unless if u know what your doing with him.

edit: and when i did baal runs with people i would sometimes leave party and kill some one my own and go ahead to clear and then rejoin the party to help them again

1.i don't care when you played in no patch ever did you lvl that fast.
2. lvls of chars don't matter for the most part. hell most lvl 99's are from before .10 and they blow balls any way.
3. a good hammerdin(no shitty one with someone that cant afford any thing, but some at least desent gear can) can destroy a pk game, while some barbs can take them its going to be a BvC which was built to take casters.
4. if your a hammy and you wanna lvl and your smart you will join a pk game or something doesn't matter as long as it has total of 8 people in it and go to chaos and baal you will gain by far more exp.

Well don't know about being able to take the most damage (that would be a barb) but basically nothing gets to them cause there hammers destroy any and all monsters that get near (Sept those act 3 immunes).

i was refering to them as characters that can do the most on both sides, take and deal damage.

and actually imo, barbs < pallys in damage wise.


pally w/ 50dr [thats the cap isnt it?] + godly uped hoz + holy shield = crazy deffensive bonus

add a defiance merc ontop of that, and you got yourslef one hell of a tank, id take that over a barb anyday, ESPECIALLY for pvm

and spawnboy: u must not remember things good at all. never, EVER. was there a patch that allowed that kind of leveling in a game.

dude your an ***hole, its a game get over it. hes running the baal games, hell you don't even have to do any thing sit back while he does it. so you killed a hammy doing baal runs for people GOOD JOB.

EDIT: one more thing lol so it took 2 people to take him down? sad you couldnt do it alone >.>!

No, it only took one. I don't want to get my hands dirty. I had a rule that I would never pk anyone myself, but get my subordinates to do it for me. It's the fact that he, and the rest of the party, gave me attitude.

Naturally I gave him five seconds to reinvite me before he got whooped. Just to be nice.

Second note: I didn't touch him.

What I love even more is that after he got killed he tried to run back down, got nailed again. He died six times on his hammerdim then changed charactors. He got killed on each of his charactors in a hell game; all of them above level 80.

How much time did THAT lose him?

OK i hear this all the time -.- here's how it goes.....

for the people that sit back and do nothing just leach this doesn't affect you. for good baal runs there's gonna be a hammy, the hammy is the one doing the killing and most often the one that tells the sorc not to meteor. this is because the one killing the monsters in this case the pally gets more exp from the monsters cause no one else does any thing but sit back and leach. BUT here's where the meteor and exp comes in to play, the meteor does continuous damage to the monsters which means the last hit, so the sorc in the games eyes gets the extra Lil exp gain, only person effected is the pally, rest do not lose exp, they gain the same they would w/o the sorc. hope that made since.

most baal games i join aren't ran by a pally and I've yet to be in a gme where EVERYONE sat back while one person was fighting the monsters. How do you explain the drain in cases when 80% or more of the ppl are fighting and killing?
I like running with my ele druid or my ww barb, and i trashed my 84 sorc into a mule..

so then instead of the half-assed accusation you made, what your trying to say is that if everyone fights in baal runs (including a hammy and a meteor sorc) then there really isn't a distinct difference in xp distribution?

OK guys its not that hard.... the last blow to the monster ill put it in terms every one can under stand....lets say they have one HP left, a bone necro hits him hes dead, he gets the extra exp boost, rest get the average amount for there lvl.
