XP Drain

I heard that Meteor causes XP drain. Is that true? and if it is, why does it?

during baal runs it causes less exp to be had. and..i have no idea how.

OK i hear this all the time -.- here's how it goes.....

for the people that sit back and do nothing just leach this doesn't affect you. for good baal runs there's gonna be a hammy, the hammy is the one doing the killing and most often the one that tells the sorc not to meteor. this is because the one killing the monsters in this case the pally gets more exp from the monsters cause no one else does any thing but sit back and leach. BUT here's where the meteor and exp comes in to play, the meteor does continuous damage to the monsters which means the last hit, so the sorc in the games eyes gets the extra Lil exp gain, only person effected is the pally, rest do not lose exp, they gain the same they would w/o the sorc. hope that made since.

That makes no sense -.-, but i think i know what your trying to say. Ive been playing this game for years, i know more about it than you do, I'm richer then you, so please shut the hell up and know what your talking about before you speak or in this case type, and learn some English too please :susp . turok: actually your wrong [and right], xp is shared as you said as long as your within distance of onea nother, but the actual killer gets more xp than the leechers, common known fact, so in theory, if the meteor does the last hit, the sorc gathers the last of the xp and the hammerdin [probablyt he guy doing the running, aka all the work] will be making less due to it than what hed normally get [cause hed normally get last hit]

The one time the hammerdin told me to not cast meteor I told him to "Suck my gonads". He then unpartied, formed a new one. I got my friend who was baaling with us to pk the paladin then finish the run.

You where costing him exp, I would have done the same. why keep someone in your party that's just gonna hurt you more then help you.

They're gay too, seriously it takes about no skill and is very boring to sit there and cast noob hammers all day.

heh hammys = best PvM char so that means best baal runner. some hybrid hammys can own just about any char you throw at it, so how that's gay is beyond me.

yes i as well think that hammerdins are boring, but the simple fact is, they are the characters that cand eal the most damage, and take the most punishment, making them the ace of spades in pvm characters.

Well don't know about being able to take the most damage (that would be a barb) but basically nothing gets to them cause there hammers destroy any and all monsters that get near (Sept those act 3 immunes).
