If you dont like runewords don't use em, i could go ful tals if i wanted or pmagi but my setup works just fine like it is. The 4 uniques I have are mainstream every other sorc, sojs/travs/magefists and none of em are hard to find or expensive, the rest of my non RW slots are pretty nice rares.

The funny thing is there are some killer rares out there but they aren't labled as a "crutch", yet they are arugably easier to find than a unique used in the same slot. Ie shako vs a rare fcr/resist tiara, or fcr rings with str/mana vs sojs or bk's and finally a rare FCR/Skill/Resist ammy vs a Maras.

I've had my share of Garbage occys, eschutas, magi's, and lidless walls this season so what I choose to use on my sorc is my business. If you want to use a pos occy for random teleport into death and a lidless wall by all means do so or go back to NeZ mod and leave my sorc alone.

Or I could do what I do; I play a mod which is made better than 1.11 and discourages mindlessly loading up with runewords. Which is exactly what you did.

A little of both. But, really. What's it like to play a patch which is so poorly designed that there's no way for unique armour/weapons to really compete against overwhelmingly overpowered runewords? Serious question.

Define compete?
As far as a full tal sorc vs my sorc we can go and kill the same things and do the same runs. So I don't see what difference it makes what gear you use to go and kill mindless zombies and minions.

If you are talking about dueling theres always going to be gear and build differences as well as skill differences. If fighting against a runeword using character bothers you, you could always unhostile them. Or join some sort of sanctioned dueling tournament where only certian gear was allowed.

But that is there not here, this is a Diablo I, II & LOD Discussion forum not a Nez Mod forum, since the mod is so different you shouldn't even be comparing it to 1.11 LoD. Maybe you should advertise for it elsewhere and not with an off-topic post in a unrelated thread.

It doesn't matter how many ppl play nezmod here just like it doesnt matter how many of them play doom3 or solitare. It's still a forum about D2 LOD.
