While checking out ChristianForums.com I came across a suporter of the Constituonal party. I had never heard of the party before. so I decided to check it out. I was shocked that these people where even allowed on a ballot, much less 38 of the states ballots. Here is a brief summary of their beliefs.
Firstlly They are anti abortion
"The pre-born child, whose life begins at fertilization, is a human being created in God’s image. The first duty of the law is to prevent the shedding of innocent blood. It is, therefore, the duty of all civil governments to secure and to safeguard the lives of the pre-born."
While being Anti-Abortion while I don't agree with the anti is accpetbale using your Diety to justify why it should be illegal is ridicoulous.
Not Only are they against Homosexual Marriages
"The law of our Creator defines marriage as the union between one man and one woman. The marriage covenant is the foundation of the family. We affirm, therefore, that no government may authorize or define marriage or family relations contrary to what God has instituted. Parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to nurture, educate, and discipline their children. Assumption of any of these responsibilities by any governmental agency usurps the role of the parents."
But want to outlaw homosexuality in General
"Under no circumstances should the federal government continue to subsidize activities which have the effect of encouraging perverted or promiscuous sexual conduct. Criminal penalties should apply to those whose willful acts of omission or commission..."
This is so ****ing ignorant I can't even form an opinon on it...
They seem to think that Education should be faith based, and the goverment should not be involved in any type of pre-school activtys for prior learning.
"All teaching is related to basic assumptions about God and man. Education as a whole, therefore, cannot be separated from religious faith."
"the United States Department of Education should be abolished; all federal legislation related to education should be repealed"
They seem to think drugies should be killed
"The Constitution Party will uphold the right of states and localities to restrict access to drugs and to enforce such restrictions in appropriate cases with application of the death penalty"
They Don't believe in Forgein affairs.
"The Constitution Party opposes any alliance or participation in any treaty or agreement that compromises our independence as a nation"
And Against Gun Control of anykind.
"The Constitution Party upholds the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms. We oppose attempts to prohibit ownership of guns by law-abiding citizens, and stand against all laws which would require the registration of guns or ammunition."
They also seem to be against public healthcare
"The Constitution Party opposes the governmentalization and bureaucratization of American medicine"
I can understand this as we all know only the rich deserve healthcare.
They also hate forgeiners
"We affirm the integrity of the international borders of the United States and the Constitutional authority and right of the federal government to guard and to protect those borders"
Maybe someone should explain to them that we don't own the united states, and that we ourselves are forgeiners...

They Hate having minimum wage or control over buisness

I guess they don't realize we tryed that untill the 40's when we realized that plan wasn't working. I Guess someone has never read "The Jungle" or "The Grapes of Wraith"
And of course we shouldn't help the poor.

Under no circumstances should the taxpayers of the United States be obligated, under penalty of law through forced taxation, to assume the cost of providing welfare for other citizens"

I dont really think religion and politics should mix not necessarly cause a war.... but i think belief and buisness should keep way away from eachother
