Here's my thought. Canada has done nothing in a while. Why? Because they are going to plot a giant conspiracy that will lead to WWIII. What will they do, you ask? Hell if I know.

Why would it be about oil? We aready are almost able to create it artificially. Just its not cheap, and its not quite done. Also it will be cleaner (Since it wont have to be refined) and more efficiant. It wont be the cause of the next world war, if there even is one.
That is a joke right?

Oil is running short, and within the next 25 years it will be practicly gone. People saying when we run short on oil we can just go up to Alaska or drill. However that has two problems. Disturbs the ecosystem and more importantly it would be only a short term solution to a problem that will again dawn on us when the last bit of oil is taken.

If there aren't going to be any "Oil Wars" we better get something done quick before we have to make a full scale assualt on the middle east.

The fact that we already have a foothold in the middle east is a good thing.

Blame Canada, blame Canada!

I think he was making a funny. And Canada is neutral, more or less. They don't exactly possess what I would call a modern military. All they want to do is play hockey ^.^.

They've done some stuff in the past though. They helped us in the invasion of Normandy.

what was that back thread that i think it was cort but i may be wrong...one of the older members posted a picture of how canada is going to attack everyone and rule the world. i liked it.

found it

http://www.battleforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8453&highlight=canada+rules+world

pics died though

i dunno if its possible to have a ww3 since the world is becoming democratic and individual freedoms are nearly everywhere. In my opinion, it is more likely for the world to become a super country than to have a 3rd world war.

To the person who said that we should be using our 'reserves' in Alaska, you obviously dont know very much do you? We are already refining it, just the Americans couldn't design a piping system that was cheap and efficiant. So we called the japs, and they build a pipe line, and for it they get a huge % of the oil that is refined there. So Alaska is kinda worthless now isn't it Mr. Ididmyhomework.

It seems that the reason we are not going to ethanol or any other energy source is that our leaders(U.S. gov) have vast investments in oil propositions and don't want to lose any of their money. Ethanol and a few other alternative sources of power are almost completely untapped and not just in one place. We are going to start a World War because some group that happens to be in power doesn't want to lose money?! We are digging a very large hole for ourselves and seem ready to plunge on in beside our friends the government.

You really think that a petition will change the minds of people looking after their money? I wouldn't think so. Unless of course the majority of the US or the world signs and believes that change is needed. Right now it seems that only a minority believes that a change is needed in our supply of fuel.
