Why Swear?

Swearing has its place, and sometimes I just find that the best possible word to use is something like ****.

To be different no. People started swearing to BE different. But there was no cause or effect. Just another day someone decided to be stupid and invent words. I'm not being an advertiser either, saying you should. I'm simply trying to understand why people swear. And I agree with Dust its just been with us now so we just say it often in our everyday lives. I'm not going to sit here and say STOP SWEARING or STOP SMOKING or anything. I'm trying to understand both sides merely...

And swearing does mean nothing, as they are not real words that mean anything or to those that are words just taken differently meanings now don't even mean what they were.

Next time think of something better, because that was weak.

Wow, thank you never thought of it that way. It can accomplish of someones emotions or what they are trying to express. But is it nesscary? No. These aren't real words so they have no meanings which means it deprives saying of it, so we only think that by swearing and cursing we are accomplishing something but are we really with empty words? Through one ear and out the other.
