Why Swear?

Why are you and everyone else sucked into this world of tradition, and senseless useless words and filth and garbage fill our streets. Where swearing is now a everyday part of us. Swearing accomplishes nothing and achieves nothing. Why say it then. It was not never originally meant to be. Fag used by indians use to mean a pile of sticks, now look at it. So why don't you change. Stop the senseless stupid crap. And be real.

True I did not lead anyone really of what I was stating. I'm talking about real life. Why swear, why use these unreal words when it does nothing. Basically its empty words coming from a mouth when I hear it.

well, swearing, to me, is just a habbit, it releases stress, and it makes me feel better sometimes...so i swear because its my first ammendment right to, and ill prolly never stop swearing, just cuz they are fun words...

I dont really think swearing is a problem. I mean the word fu<k is just another word for sex. But if you say fu<k in school you get in trouble but not if you say sex. Whats up with that?

Alot of us have grown up using the words like they were normal though. I don't even think about it when I swear anymore, theres a few people I'll check myself and make sure i don't swear in front of but majority of time I don't even realize it.

I would have to disagree with you on "accomplishes nothing," swearing does exentuate the feeling you are trying to reveal, or the emotion you are trying others to experience. It just magnifies the whole ordeal. But there are other ways to get around that most people who swear dont find the exact words they are looking for so they compensate by cursing for that.
