You need a good computer and install new drivers as they come. I had problems on mine, but I turned off my Plug and Play settings and uninstalled my MSI AGP drivers and now it works w/out crashing.

There's a virus that prevents you from opening the task manager. I can't remember how I got rid of it when I had the problem. I think I downloaded this program, which is basically an alternate task manager.

Oh yeah... you've tried CTRL + SHIFT + ESC right?

Perphaps your system specs would be nice too, your CPU, OS, PSU stuff like that. I can help you if you complain about your problem without mentioning the tools you have to work with

It is pointless unless he mentions the specs and the error messages, its like building a treehouse without wood.

I have the same thing going on my comp. Although my task manager runs fine. But i think you have a virus, just like we had.
Try installing an antivirusprogram other than norton (we did macafee) that will probably show you you have a virus.
try to get it of and i hope you have back ups of your computer.

If you don't have those, don't trow anything of your comp because that can/will do serious harm.
Or just let somebody who knows a lot about computers take a look at yours, i don't say it will help, but he won't destroy important files

That works too, and for an antivirus program, do not install the Cleaner by Moosoft. It will try to delete ANY files that may cause computer crashes and other shit like that
